  1. This tactic could save a packet if you're looking to get a shirt in memory of the legendary Forbes.
  2. Would love to see the Fammy-Benny combo work. It has more chance now if the midfield upgrades work. I don’t think LJ has trusted his midfield, except when Korey’s there, for a long time. That’s why he has stuck with with one up front. Maybe the Leeds game was the final straw for the old midfield, he saw it was still crap and the big problem? If so, fair play as they got onto it quickly. Now it’s well and truly fingers crossed time. As others have said, all these changes may have scuppered anything too exciting happening this season.
  3. Not from what I saw at Newcastle yesterday, even considering it was more or less the reserves. It was dire!
  4. David Pleat mentioned Palmer in a list of really good Chelski players who don’t get a look in at Stamford Bridge, Tammy also got a mention. So, hopefully Kasey will come good for us.
  5. Apologies if posted before, but does anyone use Sn-ap for away coach travel? I’ve seen the app advertised on FaceBook recently and it would look to be suited for away games. People put in the route they want on the app and when there’s enough people a coach is chartered. Reviews are quite good and sounds cheap, while using luxury coaches. Not quite a private minibus and I’m sure they wouldn’t want it being a beer bus, however I thought it could be useful.
  6. Players in Marbella 14-22 July, VIP corporate (invitation only) trip organised by the club 19-22 July £7k per person.
  7. Not paid, looks so easy to have been someone’s personal account. I haven’t heard anything yet, so looks like it’s the local residents getting what they want, empty spaces that aren’t used. Signage where I use to park hadn’t changed recently and there were Council sign for RPZ that needed permits Mon-Fri 9-5. Parking elsewhere now as I don’t want the hassle.
  8. I'm hoping there's no photo evidence to back it up. I'll take a few pics on Weds evening, as i walk passed from a new parking space, because there is no obvious signage about charges. And if that has changed they have done it on the sly by hiding signs away from where my car was.
  9. They have part of the reg no wrong, so that may be another give away that it's a scam.
  10. Thanks for all the advice, we'll contact the CAB and take it from there.
  11. Unfortunately not the public highway, so if it's a legit ticket we'll have to think about paying. We have big doubts because it looks a bit Mickey Mouse and the ticket was nearly hidden under the wipers. Usually tickets are slap bang in the middle of the windscreen and stuck on fairly well. Quite a few City fans park in the visitor spots, so we couldn't argue with the ticket with the info from their website. Would be damn cheap (£45 ticket) for 15+ years parking. Better start looking for somewhere else to park, can't wait for MetroBus to solve our transport problems.
  12. Returning to the car after yesterday's match I found a parking ticket on my windscreen. My mate who parks in the same area had one and i heard of another who parked somewhere else. Anyone else get one? We park on Spike Island near Vauxhall bridge where there's a council sign about needing a permit for Mon-Fri 9 to 5. Been parking here for at least 10+ years with no problems. The ticket doesn't look legit, A4 sheet of paper with date, time, reg no and PCN no handwritten on it. Header on sheet is Baltic Wharf Management Co Ltd with details of bank account to pay it to. I'll try to copy in Julie from A&S Police. It may be that local residents are fed up with us clogging their streets, which is understandable, but if you live near a major stadium you would probably have to live with this.
  13. Didn't really need a flash of Randall's scrotum this early in the weekend! Can be forgiven possibly as its for charity.
