  1. Sad to say but if you go on to Twitter at the moment it’s not hard to find the terry apologists, depressing.
  2. Dasilva All day long but loved joe and fair play to him
  3. I remember in the late seventies playing the gas and arriving early to get my space sitting on the handrail that went down next to the middle section ,I was about twelve then and most of the others there were kids and oldies, with about 30 minutes to kick off and from out of nowhere to our horror four tattooed skins with tashes that looked like they were on leave from the army stood bang in the middle and starting singing rovers ...no one was going anywhere near them we were after all kids ...they stayed a few minutes looking around for conflict which no one in there was going to give them be
  4. thanks mate ,phew indeed ..
  5. please don't shout at me as i admit i haven't read all threads on here regarding new managers ...but...is john terry a real likely candidate and could this happen to us ?
  6. Embarrassing.......Actually I beg your pardon you are correct as suited and booted was as he says ....parts of this book were previously published as bovver ..ha ha I read em both and thought they were a bit samey.....suited and booted is quite a bit bigger content wise ....some info http://www.bristolarchiverecords.com/people/people_Chris_Brown.html
  7. Suited and booted is his second book I think , not so much footy more music and scooters and hang outs also quite a good read though .
  8. Bit controversial here but I really enjoyed the gas book bovver by chris brown ..I knew it was always going to be biased and a little ...ok massively economical with the truth - but as a historical document of this cities football scene ,music scene and pubs and clubs where it all took place I think it’s a good read ,with the various tribes from the sixties onwards it pre dates mr lumbers book by quite a few years . right I’ll just get my coat .....
  9. Depressing enough result without having to hear our very own fans chanting this utter little wrong-uns name .city were always anti racist back in the day ,there are some rovers skinheads who sold the bulldog outside the tote end who could confirm this and they weren’t even playing us that day .f.... tiny tommy and f.... racism
