Nice to see him score and assist. For balance he also missed a good chance 1 on 1 with the keeper but i blame Manning for that one

For balance i have seen Haaland miss a 1 on 1 with the keeper, i don't blame Manning for that one either.

  2. What a different player TC is when he is allowed to close down and harass defenders,

back to his old self playing for Scotland and seemed to be enjoying himself unlike the last few months here.

Wow, my City history is identical to yours mate; started going in 76/77, season ticket since about 2000, and yes, I too have missed more games this season than for a very long time.

It's not just City though, football is nothing like the game I loved as a youngster, on or off the pitch. Many would argue it's much better in all ways now than in the 70s, and they're probably right too. It just doesn't excite me like it did then.

That said, I am going today, and my biggest hope is that I won't be coming away with that crushing disappointment that the last few games have brought ☹️

    Me too exactly.

not going today hate Sunday morning game’s always have.

everything just feels flat on a Sunday.

  4. I’ve never left early in 50 years of watching some dire city teams but under manning today was the fourth time I’ve let very early. Boring football with no end product. If I was Tommy or Naki I’d ask to leave tomorrow.

Max wasn't great again tonight was he?

Came and then went back and got his positioning wrong for their equaliser.

Then in the second half kicked the ball directly to their player who played it to an Oxford player who had an abysmal effort.

Signs for me in last 2 games, that there's been no improvement since last season.

Absolute bollocks, their equaliser was a defensive error and a good header nothing to do with max’s positioning and the kick to their player was the pass back to him, it was awful he had no chance to put his foot through it.

That is wonderful news. That dwindling band of buck toothed webbed feet neanderthals who turn up to watch them can look at that blank end and be constantly reminded of how tinpot they all are. Perhaps Sainsburys could advertise on that blank board.

Its not even boarding, it's tarpaulin sheet over temporary mesh fence, Lets hope these winds drop.

1st game v Newport, starting xi played all game, no subs used.

2nd game v Oxford, starting xi played all game, bar:

    • Knight-Lebel 71 (Campbell-Slowey)
    • Weimann 71 (Meerholz)
    • O’Leary 45 (Bajic)
    • Conway 83 (Francois)

Looked like TC had a problem at one point, he was subbed not long after.

seemed strange he didn’t do the 90 unless he was feeling something.

Just catching up on the vids as I’ve been busy and Rob Dickie actually asked Sam Bell what year he was in. Wow, that’s going to be awkward when he realises. Seems a lovely bloke and Sam being Sam brushes it off.

Just needs to say “I’m the one that scored against you in the last game of the season”

The Council still hasn’t released the planning permission. Presumably there has been a delay signing the legal agreement (section 106).

Could this be what SL was referring to when he said they were still having problems with the council in his interview with Twentyman.
