  1. I sure hope so. He’s been a Kalas act for us (poor pun)!
  2. I was at todays match and Kalas came over on his own after the final whistle to applaud our fans. To me it was indicative that he will be moving on this summer. I sure hope I’m wrong but I can’t see us securing his services.
  3. Absolutely spot on. It does make me chuckle that we instantly assign a song to Palmer based on one bit part performance. I also thought Pack looked a huge deal better than Morrell when he came on. For me Marvellous Marlon doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. A class act now and is consistent.
  4. I agree entirely that we must make every effort to sign Kalas. He’s a proven top end Champs player who compliments Webster so well. My concern is other clubs will come knocking come the summer. Bailey-Wright id move on in the summer. His distribution is so poor. LJ has already intimidated that he’s after one or two loan signings. He clearly doesn’t think Eisa is ready so we must bring in another striker and centre mid.
  5. Weiman made an impressive start but he’s such an unnatural striker and so difficult to play with. I’d def give him a rest and try Eisa. Weimans best attribute is his energy but he’s not canny enough or instinctive enough at Champs level. I hate to say it but I feel we’ve bought a player who will never score more than 10 goals a season. I can see why Villa & Derby got rid.
  6. I completely agree. He is our best striker and any City fan who thinks otherwise is delusional. We all know he’s no world beater but he can finish if we give him decent service. I like Taylor’s work rate but his goal ratio is appalling. And yet City diehards constantly sing that stupid song ‘Matty Taylor he’s a red’. Well done Fammy.
  7. I completely agree I can only echo these comments. I’m forever grateful to Korey for his efforts helping us get promoted but at Champs level he’s been found out. I’m very surprised he’s bagged a years extension. He’s weighed in with one league goal in 148 appearances and whilst you may say ‘well he’s a holding midfielder’ for me at this level you need more pace and forward drive. He will never take us to the next level.
  8. I totally agree that our club shop is a joke. Whilst I just don’t like our Dunder kit that’s my personal preference. Anyway my pal went into the shop yesterday to buy a hat. He was told ‘we are currently changing suppliers and new stock will arrive at the end of November ‘ ! That’s absolutely shocking management by the club. It was a very cold day so you could assume we would have sold 100+ hats. At say £12 each that’s £1200 and say £500 + profit. Wake up City. We’ve got to be more professional than that. I’d expect that at Rovers but not BS3.
  9. I couldn’t agree more. The Thatchers is abysmal and with the price hike we now drink outside the ground where the standard of pint is much higher. The young staff are clueless and lift the cups with their hands all over the rim of your cup. Most off putting. Standards have dropped massively
  10. I’m talking about Watkins here and not Korey Smith or Fammy. You think what you want but he was left out by NCFC for a reason. I hope he proves me wrong. I’d have no problem whatsoever. What makes you think he’s good enough??
  11. I’ve watched him at home and away and I genuinely think he’s awful. Heavy touch, ponderous in possession and weak. Aside from his goal today he’s done zero. I cannot see how he keeps COD out of the side. Norwich fans know how bad he is. Ask yourself why he wasn’t playing for the Canaries. Believe me he will never be good enough. Of that I’m 100% convinced.
  12. Sadly I was at the New Den on Sat and he was absolutely shocking. Positionslly he was all over the place and an accident waiting to happen. Yes he’s physical but he’s dreadful in his distribution. Bailey-Wright has to come back in.
  13. I certainly watched him very closely (as a season ticket holder). He improved a lot and his goal return was good but I never felt he had enough pace or trickery. Def not in the same class as Kodjia
  14. I agree completely. I don’t want to write the guy off but i genuinely don’t see him as the answer. He’s not pacey enough or physically imposing. For me LJ needs to move now for a proven finisher. If he doesn’t I can see us falling away which would be a great waste.
  15. I just don’t get this obsession with Matt Smith. It’s really irritating. The guy is bang average and has the mobility and turning circle of an oil tanker. If I never hear his name mentioned on this forum again (sadly it’s not ever going to happen) it will be a minute too soon.
