  1. The Chants Thread (merged)

Brilliant, but unsurprising when you think about it!
  2. The Chants Thread (merged)

Ha, that did make me chuckle!! Didn't they get outed big time for doing that some time after? You were stood next to me, stinking of cider singing along, and you bloody well know it!
  3. Leko Leko song

Now, how do you pronounce the young mans name? I'm sure that when the teams were announced last week it was 'Leeko', when he was subbed it was 'Lecko' Any know for sure?
  4. CSF book (Merged)

I wouldn't waste your breath! Threads like these always turn into these slanging matches, you either 'get it', or you don't. I've never been involved, but I 'get it', I want to read the book. It's so ******* easy to ignore if you aren't interested Our lads are flying on the pitch, and we're bitching at each other like 14 year old girls (I know, I have one of those) on a thread about a bygone era
  5. Scotty Murray Surfer flag

I was starting right at the bloody thing, and it was the first time I've remembered to take my glasses to the game as well.....old age doesn't come alone, M!!
  6. Scotty Murray Surfer flag

How on earth did I miss this!?
  7. AFL Finals....

I've seen the players sing the song on twitter after games, I'll check this one out at lunchtime. I bet it doesn't sound as good as 'Drink up thee cider' though!
  8. Keogh and LJ

At least there was some contact on Leko, from the video I saw. I had a clear view in Vydra, he was going down before Frankie got there But, yeah, two soft pens. Aren't they all nowadays?
  9. Korey Smith

On their days, and Shelts defo had more than Smith, that would be horrible to play against I do love dropping his name in now and again, Bob!
  10. Keogh and LJ

Ha, I doubt LJ is bothered. RK didn't have a good one today, did he? Ah well....
  11. AFL Finals....

Welcome, been waiting for a glory hunter to join me....... Now, explain what is happening. In plain English would be wonderful, thank you!
  12. Korey Smith

Put in the match thread, he was Shelton-esque today. I can't give higher praise than that, just superb They all were
  13. Keogh and LJ

Two incidents today that made me wonder if there are issues between the two, were they in the same squad at the same time? Both during the first half, before the Vydra dive (the cheating ****), RK made out that he was going to blast the ball at LJ from close distance, but pulled out at last minute. Not long after the Vydra peno (the cheating ****) he appeared to slap the Derby badge on his shirt a little vigorously in LJs direction Or have I had one Thatchers too many and thinking too much about it? 19,500 in the ground, bet I'm the only one who spotted either incident!
  14. Not going to go through the whole thread, but wanted to add my thoughts Pato - I can't love this bloke any more. Said at the start of the season he'd be key this year, thought he was superb Leko - had me out of my seat everytime he had the ball. Give him 2 or 3 years and he's going to be a hell of a player Bobby - always wanted him to succeed, being one of our own. He looked like he owned the Gate today. Love seeing how he's come on Flint, Wright, Baker - superb Pack - he ain't flashy, just does what he's told to do. And does it well Korey - Shelton-esque, must have touched every blade of grass on that pitch today An excellent performance. If you had told me we'd have 7 points from Reading and Wolves away and Derby at home I'd have laughed. I had turned on LJ after Preston last season, but I can't tell you how much I want the man to succeed. After today I might just start believing. Took my two eldest today, first time all 3 of us had been to a game together, will live long in the memory. Thank you all, without being over dramatic about it all, I will remember this afternoon for a long time. Having 3 girls I always worried they wouldn't be interested, days like today make it easier for me to keep their interest in football going
