  1. Agreed. I have a sneaking suspicion our visitors might not think so!
  2. I think it was the only City attack in the most one-sided draw ever!
  3. Well, it was the spelling I was getting pedantic about!
  4. You'd think they'd get this right! Great result and a really good performance!
  5. Yep, we've been decent against a good, though not world-beating team.
  6. I tend to agree with most of what you see. I wouldn't describe the owners as idiots. I think Lansdown has saved the club in many ways. But, I have to say, I can't say that today showed progress. We were abject, except for the first 10 minutes and a short spell very late on. We weren't the better team. Cardiff are not a great team, and looked happy to play for a draw with a hope of nicking a set-piece, which they did. We were poor. We know the players are better than they have shown today, but their confidence is shot and we don't look like scoring, at all.
  7. How on earth are Blackburn below us in the league!?
  8. Terrible game! Max and Roberts probably the best of the bunch.
  9. Excellent performance. How anxious were we all about a tough run against Boro and Southampton, following a hiding from Leeds and a slog at Forest? Well done to the players and coaching staff. By far the better team on the night. On to an improving QPR at the weekend.

  11. Well played, City. Unlucky in the end, just shaded the game overall, for me. Onwards in the league!
  12. Played against Jason Drysdale at primary and secondary school. I thought he was the best player in the world!
  13. Yep, Tanner doesn't seem to have the options ahead of him in the same way that Pring has.
  14. And possibly the worst sequence of "defending" you're likely to see this weekend...
  15. Really pleased with the result tonight and, in some ways, the performance. There was a moment, on about 60 minutes, where Sykes seemed to think to himself, "I'm gonna take this game on", and from there we didn't look back. Hull were irritating and full of needle, but a good side who will be disappointed not to get a point, but we showed great character and self belief in the final 30 minutes and got what we deserved, in the end. Merry Xmas all!
  16. I agree, I thought we looked comfortable in possession and Knight and TGH were finding space in the middle and in front of the Norwich back four. Still lack a cutting edge and were to blame for both goals, but Norwich are a good side who we made look average and who celebrated like they'd won the league!
  17. Yeah, always found Southampton a bit non descript. Lived down that way for a couple of years in the 90s, and much preferred Pompey.
