  1. Honestly I’m not sure it bothers them. Remember it’s “their club” and they’ve now got a manager who they believe will deliver top 6. We’d have to get really behind a boycott for them to care IMO.
  2. I’m still a big City fan and enjoy going to AG to watch about 7-10 matches a season. But I do find myself drawn to football elsewhere which is more “pure”. I find myself regularly in South Devon and watched a Buckland Athletic game vs Nailsea & Tickenham. Great set up, modern club house, friendly locals, £7 to get in and £4 a pint of Devon Red cider. 3pm on a Saturday of course . With this news about the Sky deal, I do think I’m drifting towards this kind of thing becoming the norm rather than the exception.
  3. I don’t have anything against the bloke other than when shortly before kick off when he says (for example), “it’s Bristol City versus Nottingham Forest and it’s NEXT” as if he’s presenting the coverage on telly and we’re going to the ads.
  4. Also while we are on about stadium oddities, the WHU site says their allocation of 3,414 tickets sold out. Why, when there's no segregation to think about aren't we selling all of the 4,000 plus (I've seen the capacity of the stand anything up to 4,200) tickets in the Atyeo for this game?
  5. 214 left according to a quick recount just now. All single seats. Surely we can't have sold the stadium out in just over an hour of members onsale?
  6. "What an embarrassing thread. I think I'll continue to shop and get petrol at Sainsburys, just like I continue to drink at The Welly. How about a protest at the REAL people at fault? Like our chairman who lied for months when he knew the deal was pretty much dead in the water. Or the legal experts who have offered us such poor advice. Or the rest of the board who have overseen two relegations in 4 years in seen the clubs debt dramatically rise. Might be best to get the priorities right first." There are some sensible gasheads who get the situation. Would like to think that we would have stood up to this numpty, had the boot been on the other foot. They seem to be sleep-walking to administration, letting Higgs use even more good money after bad on a laughable appeal.
