  1. Baker Hughes has signed! https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/city-announce-baker-hughes-sleeve-sponsorship/
  2. Great to have him back in the team today. I think we retained that ball far more than we have done for a while in that side of the pitch, thanks to Jay always being available and comfortable on the ball even in tight positions. Quality player and I reckon will be our best summer signing.
  3. COD was with Paterson (so he is back already) Wright and Szmodics in David Lloyd around 1:00-1:30 which I guess was after the squad was announced.
  4. @Bristol Rob I can’t honestly remember my forum name!! But it’s Nick if that helps. I do remember a Matt G, there was Geoff from USA, Keith Mizen ( who I have heard mentioned on OSIB) plus loads others I can’t remember!
  5. Wow, that’s a blast from the past! Makes me simile when I think back started the mailing list in 1993, along with the first event Bristol City website which simply had a picture of the Robin Crest. From that small seed grew the much better efforts of others including the NetCentre and Cider Drinking Squids on Yahoo Groups. Those were the days when I could spend half my day at work talking about city on the internet. I can’t remember when Rob F joined the fray but weird that I cam actually listening to him now on OSIB. Good thing was you could not interrupt an email, eh @Olé? ;0)
  6. You used to be Red. And now you are Blue. Pack and Flint So ******* sorry for you. Watching the game on the box Sunday and would love to hear the above being sung. over to the Cider Army
  7. I listened again and whilst not clear it could be more like 117m shares in total, with 3% owner by other shareholders... so it’s “only” costing him £3.9m.... not £117m!!!
  8. Did I hear that right, 117m shares at £1 per share!?! That’s a lot of cash! Begs the question.... why?
  9. And that is the first reason why you are not the CEO of Coca-Cola!
  10. Quick nudge as still looking for two tickets if any one can help.... crate of cider in it for anyone who can help!
  11. If any one has a couple of tickets please message me... happy to pay face value plus a bit on top as know these will be in demand!
  12. There has been a lot of debate on the new badge and it’s clear that people are more inclined to post if they don’t like it compared to those who like it. However the polls do seem to suggest its a good crest. I have a couple of questions: 1. Can any old timers remember the reaction to the original robin on a bridge crest when it was launched? 2. All those fans with tattoos must be a little miffed.... but who is going to win the race to have the first tattoo of the new crest!?! Please post your photos here! Personally I think I like it and am sure it will grow on me even more. I was not keen on the old robin on a bridge crest to be honest; despite that being the only thing I had on what I believe was the very first Bristol City website in 1993! Time moves on....
  13. Personally... I tweeted the club and Downsy with a request that we had a minutes silence at half time. No such luck. It was really unfortunate but I still s little robbed.
  14. I saw better scraps at primary school! And I went to a decent one!!
