  1. I really hope this isn't just a rule that this country accepts just because it makes it easier for VAR. How the heck can defenders move their arm/hands when blocking or it just hits them? I hope the powers that be teams up together to get this thrown out, as it will ruin so many more games and shouldn't be a law we just let become the normal.
  2. I had a similar line up in my head to this too although just hope Eliasson isn't sold or close to moving so refuses to play!
  3. Yep I hope we don't play a striker in CM or another striker ( who was great last season but has yet to sign a new contract. Hopefully Martin is seen as fit enough to start really liked his link up play in the week, I think this will help Wells . I don't mind Wiemann playing but as a striker if martin isn't ready.
  4. Denmark are actually a good team but... we are set up so poorly so many square/predictable passes.
  5. The real question is can we make this thread 150 pages long ....
  6. This reminds me of Albert Adomah he was good and always had you on the edge of your seat but not always the end product assist wise. Then we signed Brett Pitman and Adomah knew 9/10 to cut it back to him at the front post and it was a pretty deadly combination. Cutback crosses do as mentioned above appear to be far more effective and make a team far less predictable.
  7. Thanks LJ you gave us many good memories going from a lower championship team to a top 10 team, it didnt quite work out but all the best for the future!
  8. Shall be interesting if the FA agree with all of this.. on one hand would be harsh to relegate Stevenage but for league 2 to have play offs and then all of leagues below not to seems somewhat quite cruel?
  9. Re burns gotta ask why a champ hasnt bought him? We are a top 10 champ team so he would of wasted his time here... we should blood youngsters but only if they are good enough! Hopefully that will be soon although some might say our squad is too big for this to happen?
  10. This thread is quite funny .... wells has had no pre season with us and only been a month of course it will take him time to adjust!
  11. Ive only been a few times due to working saturdays and following other hobbies. For me its nothing to do with the manager or style of football but just fallen out love with footy a little.
  12. I like this the only thing i might be tempted to risk is playing Eliassion instead of Peirera ... Eliasson has got a lot better at tracking back! Cant really play two up top and not play our best crosser of the ball or at the least play hunt who plays better at wingback as he can cross it more!
  13. Did you not see wells and fam link up on wednesday?
  14. I think its been since he scored a goal against Brazil last year , since then his first touch , hold up play and finishing has come on a lot!
