  1. Leeds are good. Their run doesn’t reflect their performances. They dominated Brentford last out (from a friend who is a lifelong Brentford fan who never misses a game ) weaknesses are Bamford and goalkeeper. Desilva needs more help at left back when double teamed The plan of trying to nick something is probably right. They are good
  2. In the end I didn’t get to Swindon in time to find the good threesome, Glad it worked well - maybe that’s an invite only part of the pod? I did enjoy the rest of the podcast though. Thanks again.
  3. If you extrapolate our form or forecast the the remaining fixtures with home and away pts averages v ours home and away or anything else to do you get to 74pts. It’s almost as if we are 6th and if we carry on this form and everybody else theirs we end up ...6th. ive looked at It from all angles and it really is down to winning football games! Great transfer window Fammy in amazing form Team spirit and fight looks like we are up for it. buckle up
  4. Stop referencing Heskey FFS really offensive however well intentioned. Completely different players
  5. The thing I have never understood about crown green bowls is that you just repeat the same thing over and over again - I can’t see the appeal of doing that.
  6. My first listen - thank you for doing this. Firstly Re Negging- I worked for someone after an M&A and corporate restructure for whom this was a predominant management style. I knew it was weirdly dysfunctional and couldn’t understand it. Thanks for the clear definition on that. Re the podcast- great stuff. Good production quality . Great voices and knowledge and a pleasure to listen to. I really think if you had the discipline to keep it to an hour, maximum, it would be punchier. The hardest thing in journalism / media is taking the time to make something shorter. From 35 minutes on though I loved the discussion. Thank you
  7. Is that what a Millwall fan says when they channel their inner LBQT+ to make a tricky decision?
  8. I came on here to swap stories on faecal transplants. bit disappointed
  9. Frustrating as the danger man identified in your very decent pre-match (and by the bbc to be fair ) was Jed Wallace I thought we looked pretty good and so did they. We had more threat or certainly more composure in the first half and they scored. Strikes me it’s all a bit harder than it looks. We had a formation that I loved and worked twice, seeming getting the best out of our attack and solid against at the back against Mitrovic St al, but it needed rejigging or refreshing..... or “tinkering” with. In hindsight loads of setbackS this season and we are top 6. In two different periods of the season so far we have been really good. onwards
  10. In basketball you “draw a foul“ by trying to get your marker to make contact beyond the ball/hand. I think football has been slowly heading that way for a long time. I think that’s wrong and like this approach but I also agree at the other end I would expect to be awarded what is often awarded in similar circumstances
  11. I think you are right about that being a grey area. The Fulham fans around me made the point over and over that he either dived or there was contact. I could not really argue too hard with my red socks on and as they all stand up for any action on the other side behind the goal, I could not see the incident at all. But accidental contact or light contact as players are moving in different directions doesn’t mean it’s a foul - although usually given in the box. Moreover going down after light contact is so normal now you could excuse the ref for accepting it wasn’t a no contact dive but not a foul either so not a bad enough “tumble” to be trying to fool the ref and thereby no booking. I like this approach but have to admit it is rare and grey and quite a thin line between the two. Great game from what I could see. Will watch this one back for the full 90 mins
  12. For all his running Weiman can’t score or combine with Diedhiou / What a great performance from Weiman for the goal - great forward play by the front two. Should start every game together.
