  1. Of all the things wrong with today, the single burger van with just three lads working is by far the worst. Que starting to thin as people drop out to watch game. Remain strong!
  2. Not looking forward to this one. Not to sure if its just nerves, but our run in ain't the easiest. To the end City!!!
  3. Agreed. My 8 year old loves and he'll be taking his and pumping money into the club long after me. Jkb done. I just wish other youngsters could go. They all watch chelsea on telly and think its football, not knowing that watching city, especially away, is infinitely more exciting.
  4. They're certainly not all over us. We just can't hold on to the ball upfront. Also, there is absolutely no pace up to. This really limits are options.
  5. I think it might be time for me to admit that some of our players are too good for this league. haven't said that for years.
  6. I wish we had a work horse striker who tbe purests admire. Im sick and tired of flair players encouraging the next generation to take an interest in City and pretend to be them at school rather than some premier league foreigner. Its like that Jacki bloke. No one remember s him, well nkt as well as those strikers who put a shift in. Come on Cotts there must be a non descript nobody out there who genrates no excitement or flare. If we dont sale JET soon, our shite back four and gutless middle wont get better!
  7. I don't know if you have kids but an 8 year old going on 9 has an understanding of rivalry and he knows who city's are. As for the games you mention, I was personally more up for Cardiff away in the league than our Johnstones Tin pot cup game. Of course I wanted to win, I want city too win all games. Just my opinion if course, I get stick from city fans about it, but to me the rivalry means the most to the late seventies eighties generation.
  8. It is what it s mate. In the 80s something was going on, but the last 20 years has just been an irrelevance. Christ when I was in my late teens Stoke was the real battle. Maybe one day things will change for you. Perhaps Darlington said the same. Who knows? Who cares?
  9. Rovers are who they are and it will never change. There's no point rising to it. On Saturday my dad said to my eldest who is 8, that The game was a derby match, to which he corrected him as we weren't playing Cardiff! Will Rovers ever be relevant again? Who knows? Who cares? Forest Green in the Gloucestershire derby?
  10. Think he is now being ejected. Not surprised really, the integrity of the structure is on the line.
  11. Quality. Big fat swindon fan trying ti be noticed. His quality flannel shirt from 1993 should be enough on its own.
  12. Lots of support for nile ranger from the away fans. Which is nice.
  13. Got in a bit early today. Swindon already here, good atmosphere already.
  14. Bobby reid is struggling today. Making the wrong decisiojs all the time.
  15. Words fail me. We should be 5-2 up. Baldock ..... Still yet to see a good team here. We are beating ourselves, again.
  16. Next you'll be telling me that the premier league is important as an exported product and that we can only be validated as a business if we play there.
  17. For a moment I though you were describing your afternoon trip to VUe at Longwell Green. I like swearing, abuse and edginess at football. Dont really give a shit about the things you mentioned.
  18. The end of the 'phoney ashes'. The word whimper over exaggerates how we have gone out.
  19. My whole life, I never expect relegation and always refused to believe it mathematically possible. Until now. Now I expect it. I do not wish for it, I just do not see any other outcome.
  20. Dark day for the club. This result just compounds the embarrassment of those earlier arrests. Hopefully the club will make a statement on the day, week, month, past 5 years.
