  1. The "bloke" from the fruit market who put out the post is in fact Gas and his family have close links too Rovers.
  2. I had a similar experience. Avonmouth RC now only allow van tipping 3 days a week and a van permit only allows 1 tip a month couple that with them changing the days to suit it makes it difficult. It was only domestic waste in the black bags as the bin the Council supply us now is half the size. I actually drove down in the (astra) van with 4 bags (had a party so excess) and they refused entry even with a valid permit. Drove all the way home collected another 4 bags from the bin put them in the wifes car and went back down, no issues...……….crazy and the amount of waste fly tipped in the stream running down Kings Weston Lane proves it.
  3. I've heard Macclesfield players haven't been paid this month either.
  4. My brother who's a massive fan saw them at Butlins recently said it was the worst gig they have ever done, finished early as Suggs was so drunk he could hardly stand up. Vowed to never go again
  5. I'm hearing that turd will be sold on Friday to a consortium headed up by the chap who owns the fruit market ?
  6. There were a few that should have been on the spikes but weren't so it will be interesting to see how that plays out ! Negan is going to have a big story line again
  7. Interesting you added "tugmen" my dad worked on the tugs and always stood on Crackers Corner with a few other tugboat men as well, always claimed it was the best view at Ashton Gate.
  8. I've read the comics and if they loosely follow them, as they have done so far, prepare yourself for a lot of main characters to be exiting at the end of this season ! Henry is kind of taking over Carls role and should be playing a big part going forward.
  9. I've just bought a blackview a20 from amazon £49.99 its a android phone and so far does everything my sons iPhone does at £999 so well happy. I have coupled that with a EE pay monthly sim unlimited calls & text and 2gb of internet for £9 per month. Hope that helps.
  10. Brian Williams...……..poor chap got dogs abuse from the enclosure when he first signed. I remember one particular game the Rovers reject chants were being belted out he got the ball, head down ran forward and scored his first goal for us. The Rovers reject chant turned into there's only one Brian Williams, in a matter of seconds he became a red and you could sense his relief, another player who I have a fond memories of. You look back and that was some side all things considered.
  11. Milwall made an appearance that day as well Great day always remember turning round to my dad who was three rows behind and seeing him welling up when the teams came out. I have some pictures of the open top victory tour setting off from the gate, one hell of a turn out for that.
  12. I don't want to argue with bugger all I'm agreeing, what is it with the do gooder wannabe social workers on this site. Give the tickets to ALL the kids in Easton school, not just certain individuals based on skin colour or nationality. I don't give a monkeys chuff about marketing and comms if you want to create division for future generations singling out certain communities over others is divisive.
  13. Christ you'd argue with a sign post I sometimes wonder if you really are serious or just on a wind up, you know what I mean on both counts, and give them to all schools in all communities (obviously not all at the same time). I cant think of anything more divisive than targeting a particular community. I bet your more likely to get a Somolian lad wanting to going to football with his school mates and what's to say they are not white British and Christian but your advocating targeting single communities
  14. Here's a idea give the tickets to the school so the school can arrange chaperoning, that way all colours, religions and nationalities can attend you target potential football supporters not a particular demographic. Make it a day out tour of the ground, meet and greet, flags etc. If the child enjoys it he goes home to Mum or Dad and asks to go again if they don't you would hope they still had a good day and when their old enough to attend with out a guardian they remember the day and go back to the gate. Perhaps, just perhaps the whole football thing don't suit certain cultures, alcohol plays a big part in the day and the celebrations would not suit some individuals, the hugging thing sounds great but in certain religions that wouldn't go down well.
