    CATS TO QPR

I am trying to order my tickets for the QPR game but nowhere can i see the opportunity to order CATS tickets at the same time. Anybody had the same problem?

Inexperienced defence options on bench Saturday

If the guy i saw limping down Coldharbour lane on sunday morning as i went past him on the bus, was Joe Bryan then i would be surprised if he will be available for saturday. If the injury he suffered on Friday does keep him out of saturdays game, does that mean teams who are interested in signing him in the window will be reluctant to sign him if he is injured? Heres hoping.

    Line up vs Bournemouth

I dont really understand why diedhou was involved tonight, given that he is not available for the first 6 matches,. I would have thought it made more sense to give Milan some game time if he is to be considered as diedhou,s stand in (or is he?)

    Bristol City v Shrewsbury Town

Normally i would agree that this is a game nobody wants to take part in, however given that everybody expected England to come home at the last 16 stage, this is a good opportunity for England to be able to say we finished THIRD or even FOURTH is better thann last 16

I have to say I'm impressed

Dont worry about who is going to score the goals, we will be ok when tammy comes back. Somebody said on here a few weeks ago that he was coming back and it was a DONE DEAL.

    This wkd’s fixtures

I assume we are all doing our predictions, mine are as follows Draw at boro, beat Hull, beat Forest . That would give us 72 points going in to the Sheffield game. My predictions for the other teams mean that we will hit the top six after the Forest game with one game remaining. Then all we have to do is beat Sheffield United to stay there and finish in 6th position with 75 points. GET IN.

    Team for Millwall

I think we have tried all the combinations with this group of players since the turn of the year and in the main it hasn,t worked, we have been pretty ineffective in several of the games. So i would love it if we could try something different. Unfortunately looking at the names on the bench we haven,t really got anything different to try. Maybe Duric on from the start with eliason providing the crosses. the only player we have got who would be something different is O'dowda so hopefully he will be back if not this week, next week. As long as it is possible always believe, the other teams seem to be helping us out as best they can.

How long have we been in the CHAMPIONSHIP?

that is my point, it can take longer than 3 years to get out. There is a lot of good teams trying to acheive it. Realistically wouldn,t you expect Wolves, Cardiff (despite what we all think of their manager he is doing a bloody good job) Aston Villa, Middlesborough and Derby to finish above us with their pedigree. If you accept this fact then we aint doing too badly.
  10. Everybody has an opinion about whether we have done extremely well getting to where we are at the moment, or done poorly being where we are now from where we were on 1st january, but consider how long some of our rivals have been in the championship, and bear in mind sometimes the best things in life take time to acheive. Birmingham - went in to the top division in 2008, came straight back down, and have been in this division 7 years. Cardiff - have been in championship for 3 yrs now but their previous spell lasted 10 years. Derby - have been in championship 10 years. Ipswich - have been in championship for 15 years. Leeds - " " " for 8 years. Middlesborough - first year in division but previous spell lasted 7 years. Forest - have been in championship for 10 years. Preston - like us 3rd year in championship but previous spell lasted 11 years. There are some bigger teams than us who didn,t get out within 3 years which we seem to be expecting city to do. Get behind the lads for the last 9 games and at least be able to say at the end of the season if we dont make it We gave it a go

    SEASON TICKET PRICES (Merged)

With approx 16000 existing season ticket holders there are not likely to be many NEW purchases immediately they go on sale. As existing holders have until monday 19th March to re-claim their seat if no one actually buys for the first 10 days it may prompt a reaction from the club. No one has to worry about losing their existing seat because they are reserved until the 19th.

    Dont give up just yet

Still in top 6, hanging on we may be but still there. Diedhou and Baker possibly missing this weekend, Baker will definately be a big miss, but we managed to spend practically half a season without Diedhou and got to 2nd spot , it is only since he came back that we have had a bad spell (i am not saying it is his fault but we did ok without him). WOLVES - gone CARDIFF - gone VILLA - gone as far as we are concerned. FULHAM - going well now So we are probably fighting for 5th or 6th with Derby plus possibly Sheff Utd, Boro, PNE, and Brentford. However ther are loads of games yet to play where the teams between 5th and 10th play each other so points will be won and lost. Derby in their remaining games have to play 7 games against teams in the top 10, and they like us have only won 1 in their last nine. Fulham have 4 games against top 10 teams so they could still drop points which would keep them in the pack with us. Sheffield Utd (6) Boro (5) PNE (4) and Brentford (5) all have games against other top 10 teams. We have 4 games against top 10. We have the answer in our own hands so it is ultimately down to us but DONT GIVE UP YET.

    Leeds manager sacked!

Unless the guy works an absolute miracle, i cant see him making any difference to the leeds team tomorrow. I dont know why the media say he was doing a good job at Barnsley look at their league position. The day after city beat sheffield united we went to Barnsley to watch them play Derby and Barnsley who lost 3 nil were absolutely awful. C O Y R

How long will Luke Williams stay?

Sorry for the confusion. When i started to post an item about Luke Williams (who is our under 23 manager) it somehow linked my previous post re penalty takers for the Carabao cup games, which was not what i wanted to write about, so i'll start again. We made a big thing about signing Luke Williams (ex swindle manager) as our under 23 manager as he is perceived to be a top coach. My question is how long will he be happy in the position when we currently have all his best players out on loan to other clubs. I know they say under 23 results are not the priority, it is all about development, but who is he developing with our best group of youngsters playing for someone else.
