  1. I agree with the major Kasey Palmer is one of the most skilful players we have got and we should be utilising that skill for the benefit of the team. When it is said that either Weimann or Dedhiou are n,t the best types of player to play with Kasey, surely that is what training 5 days a week is all about. Why do our coaching staff not mould KP and AW or FD in to a good partnership. Is that because we haven,t got a striker coach (as has been said recently). You cant expect all players to gel with each other unless you work at it in training.
  2. Am i correct in thinking that Benik Afobe travelled to WBA on the team coach, i am sure it was him that got off If it was he must be considered to be a big possibility for some games before the season ends and he must be considered to be still part of the 1st team set up. He must be enjoying his time with City and bodes well for the possibility of him signing for next season.
  3. I cant believe that the lady that makes teas and coffees on CATS coach no 1 (SALLY?) for every away game of the season, cant get a ticket for Fulham. Surely someone at the club or Jerry can pull a few strings and help her out.
  4. Rudolph If you are the resident songwriter, i have been trying to compose one for Josh Brownhill to the tune of Mrs Browns Boys ending in "thats Josh Brownhill de de thats Josh Brownhill. Unfortunately thats all ive got. See what you can do.
  5. You can now have a pee in the public toilets on the sea front at W-S-M and pay by contactless card, so why not Ashton Gate?
  6. I am not really surprised when you consider he came as Under 23's coach when he joined us, but since then most of our U23 players have been sent out on loan so he has not been coaching the best young uns (which a Swindon supporter friend of mine says he is very good at. The other thing that i dont think he would have been very happy with, was at the recent U23's game against Birmingham City Lee Johnson came down from the stand to the touchline and was issuing instructions to the players on the pitch, which i thought at the time was out of order.
  7. Tickets are on sale now and have been for 2/3 weeks.
  8. If like me you get a little frustrated when the team doesn't take advantage when they should i.e. failing to beat teams like Wigan to go 2nd in the league, dont be too disappointed. I have just checked the October results for the teams currently in the top 10 positions, and only Birmingham have scored more points (9) than we have (8). WBA, Leeds, PNE, Fulham, Wednesday also scored 8 points. So in this topsy turvy division perhaps we are doing better than we think we are.
  9. Hi Phantom Have received mine this morning, hopefully yours will turn up tomorrow.
  10. Has anybody received their Cardiff tickets yet? Last monday I ordered online tickets for Cardiff along with tickets for WBA and coach travel to WBA I received the WBA match and coach tickets in thursdays post, but no tickets for Cardiff. I rang the ticket office to be told that they would have been sent in seperate envelopes, I still have not received them on Saturday. Should I be worried? The money has been put on my credit card.
  11. I hadn't clocked that he was only 21 until i watched the under 23's last week, when he was substituted off he was sat in the dugout area a few yards from me and i couldn't believe how young he looked. The good thing about him, from what i've seen of him on the pitch, he is not "one for the future" he is one for the here and now. A fantastic prospect if we look after him.
  12. How did Semenyo get from Ashton Gate after a game on saturday that didn't finish until 5 pm, to Leeds for a game that kicked off at 2 pm, and be considered refreshed enough to start the game ??. I was at the Barnsley game at Ashton Gate on monday and their coach driver said they had come down the day before and stayed overnight in a hotel.
  13. I dont quite understand why Gilmartin was brought in as a 3rd senior goalkeeper, with the proviso that he would also be coaching our younger goalies (who, at the time you would have thought they meant O'leary and Woolacott), only for those 2 to be sent out on loan. Who is Gilmartin going to be coaching who will be anywhere near the 1st team squad.
  14. Kalifa Cisse wont know whether he is coming or going.
