Has Matty Taylor ever had a chance?

Weimann must have been p____d off yesterday, when he had been stuck on the wing for 80 minutes (not his position and not his best position to help the team) and then LJ brings on Matt Taylor to play down the middle and moves Pato out on to the wing, because we need another man up front. Weimann is absolutely wasted on the wing but hey ho.

ref a good luck charm against Brentford?

I wish Marley Watkins had scored 7 goals we would be in the prayoffs.

    Jack Marriott

Quite right - there are 2 marriotts in bristol. 1 in Old Market and 1 in College Green. I have seen them both.

    Weimann (Merged)

Although i agree he was better than he has been (he is obviously not a winger but had to do a job for the team), he was however partly responsible for both the goals we conceded. If you watch the highlights he was the nearest city player to both their goalscorers but was ball watching and didn,t pick up that Steipleman and Aarons were both unmarked when they scored the goals.

    Pubs for Reading away?

The Holiday Inn just off the last roundabout before the ground, (on the road that comes from the M4) is dedicated to away fans and even prints a menu with the BCFC motto on it. There is always loads of city fans in there. They do charge for secure parking but then it is only a 5 minute walk to the madstad.

    Cashless Ashton Gate ....

No problem, the Coopers still take cash so 4 of us will stay longer in there.

    Ivan Lucic

Archie I see what you did then. I was recently on a cruise and the resident band asked for requests every day. I requested Vienna by Midge Ure (Ultravox) and was given a rather rude reply "never heard of it" obviously you have.

    Bristol City Injured XI....nearly

10 operations???? Last season we got regular updates from the Head Physio (whose name i have forgotten already Steve somebody) and i think he told us that in our squad of players we had accumulated 10 (maybe 11) operations. We must be at least half way to that figure already this season. That certainly affected results in the second half of last season because those that were still playing were running on empty. Have some sympathy please for LJ it isn,t easy to mould a winning team when you have to keep changing it due to serious injuries. What was the real reason the said Physio left us? did he feel overworked or was there some sinister reason for it?

    Weimann Chant Suggestions

The old Elvis Presley song Weinmann says he will score the goals and we cant help falling in love with him.

Inexperienced defence options on bench Saturday

If the guy i saw limping down Coldharbour lane on sunday morning as i went past him on the bus, was Joe Bryan then i would be surprised if he will be available for saturday. If the injury he suffered on Friday does keep him out of saturdays game, does that mean teams who are interested in signing him in the window will be reluctant to sign him if he is injured? Heres hoping.

    Line up vs Bournemouth

I dont really understand why diedhou was involved tonight, given that he is not available for the first 6 matches,. I would have thought it made more sense to give Milan some game time if he is to be considered as diedhou,s stand in (or is he?)

    Bristol City v Shrewsbury Town

Normally i would agree that this is a game nobody wants to take part in, however given that everybody expected England to come home at the last 16 stage, this is a good opportunity for England to be able to say we finished THIRD or even FOURTH is better thann last 16
