  1. I have seen (on robins tv) several teams this season and been very impressed with the way they play triangles, 1-2's and generally have players constantly moving around, and thought why dont we do that instead of either being almost static or the guy with the ball cant make a pass cos no one is showing for the ball. That has been a big difference between us and quite honestly most of the teams we have played against even the ones whose league position is similar or worse than ours. This begs the question from me what the hell are simpson, downing, pearson and holden before him d
  2. I dont think next season is going to be the season we would like it to be or hope it it going to be. i see only a season of virtually starting again. 12 or so players out of contract, who it seems by all the comments on here, not too many would be worried if they all left to ply their trades somewhere else. If Nige stays, and i am not too sure he will, who is he going to sign to replace the leavers? Is he qualified to sign players that we can afford and are good enough to get us where we want to be.He wont be able to go out and pay 5 million quid for every player he might want
  3. I have today had a text message from a friend saying that her son, who works for British Oxygen, is today working at one of the football clubs in Bristol installing a chryotherapy chamber, which sounds like a freestanding ice bath for treating injuries. She thinks it would be city because she doubts if rovers could afford it. I would imagine this would be part of the new high performance building at Failand. I would also imagine there would be a queue of players waiting to use it, considering all the injuries we have had and still have. Lets hope it works and gets the players re
  4. I am normally optimistic when the usual predictions are made for the last 10 games, but even i realise we have zero chance of making the playoffs Reading and Barnsley who are currently 5th and 6th have both currently got 61 points from 36 games = 1.69 points per game x 46 = 78 points, So if they both continue at the same rate = 78 points. We are currently on 48 points with 10 games left so we would have to win all 10 games just to draw level and then we would miss out on goal difference. Roll on next seaspn.
  5. There is snippet on the official city website, saying that the guest pundit tomorrow is Rene Gilmartin. Within that article there is a link to the strem tomorrow.
  6. No sign of liam walsh in the team, is he injured again or in the squad for the bournemouth game?
  7. Thanks for all your replies, unfortunately i am not technowlogically savvy so most of the solutions offered go right over my head. The strange thing is i have been paying with my credit card all season long without a problem until saturday. I will sign up for paypal and do it that way.
  8. Yes there is plenty of credit available, what i am saying is that there is no option on my screen to pay by credit card.
  9. On saturday i was unable to gain access to robins tv for the swansea stream, and although lots of other fans were saying they couldn't get on for various technical reasons, my problem was i couldn't actuall make the payment on my credit card which i have been paying with all season up to now. The only method being offered was Paypal which i have never used, and haven't got a clue what it is or how you pay for it. Did anyone else have the same problem?, and has the credit card option been removed? I have tonight tried to pay for the bournemouth game but the same problem
  10. I am trying to book todays strem against swansea, but the pay by credit card option is not appearing. Anybody else got this problem?
  11. Nigel Pearson doesn't strike me as someone who would just join a club "until the end of the season", I am sure he will have joined us with next season in mind and be looking forward to moulding his own team for the challenge, I think the short term contract was a safery net for him to get out if it went tits up this season. If it doesn't go well and he leaves, unless we are allowed back in the ground this season we might never see him "live" which would be a shame.
  12. I have never seen Sam Bell play so don't know whether he is ready for a start or not but if he was in the team we couldn't be any worse than our 1 or no shots on target that we have been recording for the last 6 games or so. So why not chuck him in? what have we got to lose ??
  13. I cant see too many candidates wanting to take the job on and keeping our large coaching team simpson, downing, mountain, gilmartin, cisse especially if he wants to bring his own staff with him. So it will either prove to be a stumbling block to getting a new HC or will cost loads of money to pay them all off.
  14. There is absolutely no defence for todays performance and indeed performances throughout the season have been totally unacceptable from a team that was supposedly in with a shout of getting in the playoffs. The players should be ashamed of themselves for performing the way they have and they appear to have thrown Dean under the bus. However we all know it is always the manager that pays the price, so it will be no great surprise if he does get the push. However i would add rhe following to give it a bit of perspective - We are 7 points off the playoffs but heading in the w
