  1. Lets get him on the pitch at one of our remaining home games to show our appreciation to a top class sports broadcaster.

One of the highlights of a home game is listening ti him and the people who phone in with their comments in the car on the

way home., especially earlier on this season when we had seen some abysmal games.

ON the pitch, ON the pitch.

  2. We obviously have some fans who think we can make the playoffs this season, as well as some who think it is a step too far.

What took me a little by surprise last night was Nigel saying on the radio that tomorrow (today) we have to get back to the

task of trying to get in to the playoffs, which is reassuring that his frame of mind is that it is a possibility.

I think we can all look forward to a tremendous last 13 games and we are obviously going to give it all we have got.

    Strap yourselves in.

  3. i listened to the radio berkshire commentary of our game at reading via hesgoal.

When Chris Martin came on the 2 commentators said "oh he wont cause us any problems he is too slow" 1 of them then said

do you remember when we had him on loan he was awful.

I f radio commentators have that opinion why do we persevere with bringing him on, a tactic which as far as i am aware

has not made 1 iota of difference in any game we have used it.

i think it is time to move on from him and stick with Sam Bell who would gain from the playing time.

  4. Why are there no fixtures for u-23's shown on the website? I didn,t even know they were playing today.

Is there something sininister going on with this team?  There were no tickets available for the last 3 games of last season,

because ithey were apparently sold out, although i never actually saw them on sale. If you watched those games on Robins

TV, there was hardly any supporters there, so how could they be sold out.

I have mentioned this on 2 occassions now to Jerry when i have seen him at 1st team games, perhaps if he reads this he could give me

    an answer.

  5. 2 weeks ago i tried to buy tickets on the day of U23's game at the HPC, but they were "sold out".

When i watched the game on Robins TV only half of the stand was being used, and even that half was less than half full, so how it was classed as sold out i dont understand.

I have today tried to order 2 tickets for the game next tuesday 3rd May, only to be told it is already sold out 7 days before the game takes place, which i find hard to believe.

Anyone else had the same problem and does anyone understand it?

  6. Sold Out MY A-SE

I thought i had ordered 2 tickets for this game , which when i tried to print them this morning were not on my computer waiting to be printed.

I tried to order them again on line to be given the message SOLD OUT. I rang in to be told no we cant let you have tickets it is SOLD OUT.

I am npw watching the game on Robins TV and there is hardly anybody there. They are only using half of the stand not all of it, half of that is

empty, and there are lots of people in there with red trackdsuit tops on, obviously academy players.

There cant be more than 100 spectators in the ground.

Come on City   get your act together.

  7. Not only have we conceded 2 goals in our last 9 games, we have actually conceded 2 goals on 19 occassions this season.

That is 19 games where we would have needed to score 3 goals to win the game, and we have only managed that 4 times.

As other posters have mentioned what on earth are NP, PM, and Cf doing on a daily basis in training.

It makes the High Performance Centre seem like a total misnomer.

Come on you so called experts  EARN YOUR MONEY.

  8. In Nigel Pearson's presser yesterday he was quite vehemant that come january he "will get rid of the players who dont want to be here"

Who is he referring to   any ideas?

One thing that always occurs to me when a manager (all of them not just pearson) is under pressure for poor results they accuse players

of not carrying out the managers instructions and that is why they lost. They never accept that if the players do carry out the managers

instructions but they lose anyway it may be because his instructions are the wrong ones anyway.

It seems to me that players these days have to play to the managers instructions and are not allowed to express themselves for fear of

getting a bollocking because they dont do what the managers tell them to.

Surely there has to be some room for flair or expression but it seems like ther isn,t.

Too late to pry Ryan Lowe away from Plymouth?!

Lee Johnson and Dean Holden could be classed as fresh faces and they didn;t work out. I will probably get pelters for saying this,

but the current members of the first team are not pulling up trees so why not try something different, we are stuck with this squad

until january so i say give COD an extended run at least he has some pace which might galvanise them in to some sort of action.

Kasey Palmer has to be good enough to get in to this team, so give him an extended run as well. These two would possibly give us

something to get excited about which we are not getting from the current shower.

I am not saying these two are the long term solution but at the moment we are stuck with what we have got.

It is no good keep doing the same things and getting the same results.

  10. You will definately be able to rock up at 12.45 and gain admission to the game, never more than a couple of hundred there,

I am fairly sure there will be plenty of room in the car park also, but i am not sure what the charging arrangements are.

Last time i went i parked in Duckmoor Road (or even nearer if you can)

  11. for all the reasons given in other posts, i dont think we will or should get rid of Pearson, but considering our recent results

and the fact that we are playing Barnsley who are not Bournemouth or WBA i think he would possibly be drinking in

the last chance saloon on Saturday. We simply cannot go on losing at the rate we are at the moment.

  12. It was embarrasing on saturday to see our coaching staff (5 of them) all visiting the technical area at different times, all waving their

arms about and not appearing to have anything to offer which would have given us even the slightest chance of changing the game.

Nige, Curtis, Paul, Keith and Pat all did as i say above but none of it made any difference. Why do we need 5 coaching staff (plus Cisse))

and what are they actually doing?

The other thing that struck me was we are often informed that we have people watching teams rhat we are due to come up against,

and that various reports are studied to enable us to create a plan on how to deal with opposition players, tactics etc. It seemed to me on

Saturday we had no clue how Bournemouth were going to play and certainly no plan on how we could stop them, or even force our game on them.

I realise Bournemouth played supremely well but it seemed to take us by surprise. Had we not bothered to fo and watch them?

Onward and upward (hopefully tomorrow night).
