  1. I’ll be renewing as much for the social side of seeing my friends etc as the football. You never know, next season might be the one that take us to the promise land as I’d be totally gutted to miss out on that.
  2. Over a grand raised at the game yesterday.
  3. I think the free tickets for member are only for those with under 19 or under 12 membership.
  4. That’s sad shame, good away day at Torquay (when we use to play them that is).
  5. I think City should utilise this for the kids seats in the south stand, with a few tweaks. It has been alleged that people buy a kids seat (presumably using the details of a child under the 12 they know), to avoid having someone sat next to them. If the club doubled the price of all kids season tickets in the south stand, with a reduction down to the kids price of £50 for all those who have used it for more than half the games, then this might solve at least part of the problem. As for the adults who buy seats and don’t turn up, well I can’t really see you can do much with that. If they don’t choose to turn up, then that’s up to them. If they do turn up and go into a different, more expensive seat, then the club needs to police it better. Stewards checking at the entry point to each block might alleviate some of it, and random ticket checks, when people are in the seats, might also help. BTW The club doesn't necessarily need to do random checks, but the threat might help. It would be nice to actually see the stadium full, when the club says irs “sold out”.

    Sven

Was just reading about that and, have to confess, it brought tears to my eyes. I hope it happens and that Sven is well enough to enjoy his day.
  7. So what do we think? According to several media sources City are in advanced talks with WBA over Andi Weimann. Would you be happy to see him go or indeed swapped for TGH? Personally I like Weimann, I think he’s a good player, who loves City and gives his all. However, he’s not be quite the same since he was out injured the last time. Thoughts ….
  8. Thanks all. Bought a Robins TV pass for tonight. Am I right in thinking the West Ham has been chosen for international broadcast so won’t be on RTV?
  9. They should be fine on the bus then. It can just get quite busy and people tend to push and shove which can frighten little ones.
  10. I’m afraid your best bet is going to be the bus. In bound, The X1 stops at Clanage Road. (3 mins walk to the stadium) and outbound at Ashton Road. if your Grandson is a little one, I would go early and leave AG late as the buses are often quite busy just before and after the game.
  11. Where can I find a list of matches that are on the red button? Both for tonight and in the future. I don’t want to pay for a Robins TV pass, only to find I could have watched it on Sky as part of the large fee I pay each month to them.
  12. Is the game on Sky/the red button tonight? if not, how about Robins TV?
  13. Nice one , well done to the Supporters Club and Trust. Now no fees on CATS tickets. As a famous supermarket says “every little helps”. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/watford-away-on-priority-sale/
  14. Really? I always liked going to Luton. Old fashioned football ground and easy to get a good atmosphere going.
  15. Yeah Griffin Park was one of my favourites too. One of the last places to have terracing, decent pubs, a good chippie and usually a competitive game.
