  1. Apparently you will be able to pause subscriptions online from Friday, you can cancel now on the phone but you may not get the same deal(s) when you want to switch back on
  2. I think the point is that whilst incidents do happen at other sports (e.g. Rugby, horse racing and boxing), they get nothing like the same publicity as when something happens at football. Only a couple of weeks ago at the Scotland vs England rugby match a member of the England management team was hit by a beer bottle believed (at the time) to have been thrown by a Scotland supporter. Outside match reports and rugby specific press this received very little coverage in comparison whereas if it had happened at football this would have been headline news
  3. Clive Platt on Tony Butler wasn't it?
  4. Unless things have changed, you can buy it now but not activate it straightaway. It doesn't activate until you start watching a sky sports channel and the month would run from then?
  5. Just talking generally, have always thought that if a player gets red carded for preventing a goal with his hand, the same should apply for trying to score one the same way. Same difference / reward. And yes, that would still apply to Fam when he tried it earlier this season and I didn't like it then...
  6. I caught the M2 from the centre and it was fine and pretty quick. As others have said, the official AG stop is behind the flats but probably just as easy to get off at the one before (Cumberland Basin) with just a short (and much nicer) walk over the little bridge and through the park. Less direct coming back (goes via Temple Meads and Cabot Circus) so I hopped off at Wapping Wharf and cut through to the centre from there
  7. My boy used to play there for Coalpit Heath and it was a nightmare for flooding. As soon as there was any sort of rain at least two of the pitches would be unplayable
