Why is it that when we get a bit of success Bristol Rovers' name is barely mentioned, if at all? But when the richest club in the world gets a bit of success then the only hot-topic is Bristol City? Tis all terribly strange.

I wonder how many times Rovers have sold out your various homes since 1982? Five, maybe six, times? Thinking logically - this will be a new phenomenon to you - we have probably sold out more time this season than you lot have since 1982. If I were you I'd stop the 1982 jibes, as it seems to be more embarrassing for you than for us. What's really telling is that Rovers' fans have mentioned Bristol City as much, if not more, than their new owners since the takeover was announced. Are we the limit of their ambitions? We should be flattered, but attention from them makes me a little queasy. I wonder how this will affect their fanbase once the dust has settled on the deal, as well? They will now have to live with the pressure of a club that has money to spend, and that can be as bad as it can be good.
