  1. .....and their supporters 1min 17 secs to sing about City. It was also their first song of the game.
  2. Boring. Just like you're monotone manager and the rest of your 70's throwback fans
  3. Whatever Mr Polak says on a public forum, we all know that he will be absolutely gutted that he is a Bristol Rovers fab and not Bristol City. He's just the same as the rest of them; so utterly consumed with jealousy that the poor mite simply can't think straight. Bless him I do hope this post doesn't come back to bite me when they get their new stadium and pass us in the league, really, really, really soon......
  4. Coupled with our impending relegation and their fantastic new stadium at UWE, our days as Bristol's No.1 are numbered, I fear
  5. I expect it will be due to the safety certificate that the council were prepared to issue, which might have seen City have to reduce the capacity. Normally new stands and/or stadiums do a dry run using a pre season game to establish that all safety systems are working ok, but even though they opened the doors in the week for the U18's game, it may not have attracted enough spectators to achieve the right certificate.
  6. We could have, but we would had to have written 'The Shame Of' above the Bristol Sport so that everyone knew the had borrowed it,
  7. I'm pretty sure they were a London based firm who dealt with the Wycombe fiasco, so probably dumped, but also possibly a sports law specialist
  8. Thanks for that, Ian. I knew about the first cringeworthy visit, but I didn't know he went on to make a tit of himself again and also taunted the Grimsby local rag too. He is a really classy chap. Maybe when they move to their new stadium at the UWE he'll up his game a little bit.
  9. I've seen this a few times now, but I have definitely missed something with the 'print that you bastards/Darryl Clarke' thing. Anyone give me a brief description of what this is about?
  10. Well said, Tom. I couldn't have put it better myself.
  11. I would give anything to find that picture of the sags with the bed sheet outside AG after our Play Off Final defeat with 'Goodnight Irene - it was just a dream' splattered all over it. How apt and karma-ish that would be right now.....
  12. You've surprised me, Dolly? Firstly the stadium they so rely on was going to be built in S. Glos. and secondly it's a great decision for Bristol City as our future success will see us hoover up any floating youngsters with ease when they compare Rovers with City. Also, it is worth just taking a second to imagine they bollocks we'd have to put up with today if they'd got a result. I for one am pleased at the result for that reason alone.
  13. Clearly he's up early in order to get to church early to cram in as many prayers as possible for tomorrow....
  14. 6:41 am on Bristol City fans' forum....
  15. True, but that jibe has been easily countered by the presentation of the fact that we have won more since 1982 than they have since 1883. A 100 year head start and yet they are still firmly in our shadow
  16. We both have - our parents will not be prowed of us for such a basic spelling error
  17. He must be so proud that all the national papers are proving Mr Lansdown wrong by talking about Rovers......
  18. He says 'sorry you'll never get rid of us' as if they'd just been promoted into the same division as us, not just been promoted two divisions below us back into the football league all whilst conveniently forgetting it's been 14 season since we last shared the same division and also that the last time we played them we beat them. Yep he's a bona fide gashead, that boy! They've only been a football league club for five minutes and look at them go already.....
  19. He is a total oddball, so with that in mind I naturally assumed he was gas all along
