  1. I think you are probably right, for what ever reason Hughton didn't fit, but ultimately we ended up with Pearson, and I for one are very happy about the end result.
  2. Something obviously went wrong and we ended up with Holden being appointed and everyone trying to convince us he was first choice.
  3. I totally agree, the whole process was ridiculous! But going through that shit show has ultimately resulted in the appointment of Pearson. My question was, would you have preferred not to have had Holden appointed and Hughton as our current manager, or are you happy that we ultimately ended up with Pearson?
  4. The botched interview of Chris Hughton and appointment of Dean Holden has ultimately resulted in us having Nigel Pearson as manager, but who here would still have preferred Hughton as manager, or even though it has wasted yet another season are you happy with the outcome?
  5. David, can you move your mic away from your nose, it's like listening to Darth Vader. Vader
  6. We know Mark Ashton is at the forefront of the proposed salary cap for the EFL, he must therefore be privy to the wage structures being suggested. Perhaps they have offered Fammy the top salary in the cap in the believe it will be coming into force in the near future. That also might be why walsh's contract is being delayed?
  7. I wish someone in the media team would point out to Dean Holden that he says "as I say" in literally every sentence, even when he hasn't said!!
  8. Good discussion as always guys, but my god its a hard listen. Dave, for goodness sake please update your internet and headphones. You are constantly cutting out and lagging behind the conversation and as a consequence always talking over everyone. I know you don't like people complaining about the quality but you are the host after all, at least have some modern equipment. Apart from that its excellent
  9. Anyone still wish we'd got Hughton in?
  10. After seeing his last two performances for Wales I'm actually happy for him to leave. Solid enough, but not dynamic enough for the the style we play. Too much sideways backward passing. I think Walsh is far more suited to our style.
  11. Enjoyed the chat, but whoever it was that had the crackling microphone made it very hard to listen to. I guess it's an improvement on the barking dog and the phones going off.
  12. Any chance Hong Kong can be added to the trusted countries list, OTIB still not working here.
  13. Brilliant from last season!
