  1. Go to watch non league Weston at home tomorrow.
  2. He is going to come back and score against us I can see it as we will not keep him,he may even end up in the premiership !
  3. who are the players featured ?
  4. A simple scissor movement will find space and make sure that we don't loose possession so often, it just means one player running in one direction and another running in the other direction, not rocket science !
  5. Yesterday went to the Dw stadium to watch Bristol city V Wigan and looking at the program I read that the Stadium is celebrating 20 years, which made me think because one of my football memories goes back to their old ground Springfield Park when we won 4-1 and that day Tony Robinson ( who was filming in the area ) was stood next to me and was asking about the players not playing etc,he had a good knowledge of the team and we had a decent chat. Well that must be over 20 years ago,how time fly's I still remember it but boy over 20 years ! Going home I thought to myself the I have watched Bristol City longer that Louis Carey has played for them (I was there at York when he made his debut & last game) in fact longer than anyone who has worked for Bristol City and there are lots like me who follow the team home and away spending our money on something that we love. The Fans are the Club so you have to feel sorry for Bury and any other club that has been lost because its the Fans that keep it going. LONG LIVE THE FANS THEY ARE THE CLUB !
  6. Carl Hutchings is on You Tube with two interview which tell you all about City and he has some funny stories to tell, great bloke and a great interview
  7. Great Pictures of one of City's greats Beryl ran the club shop the Cats coaches and had a lot to do with ticketing thinking about it better days.
  8. Great player and from what I see a great bloke, interesting what he had to say about Benny and Scott Davidson and a really funny story about not joining Brighton,we all learn !
  9. Remember it well could not get the time off work but we ran coaches from Ashton Gate and I thought that Newcastle was a long trip !

I recently went to see Weston AFC play ( the under23s Play there to) but something that struck me was that anyone who had a sweet wrapper or cup of coffee when they finished would put it in the bins provided and after the game I noticed that the ground was clean and tidy unlike Ashton gate after a game. Would'nt it be good if at Ashton Gate we did the same, but on a larger scale, which would save the club some money and do our bit to keep the planet clean, just a thought to be going on with for all of those that just throw down your rubbish for someone else to clear up.
  11. Sold out in 4 mins amazing the support that we are getting now,I presume that most people have been to Fulham so its hardly a new ground, its just the away support is amazing. Fell sorry for those that bought a train ticket and could not get a ground ticket bit of a bummer.
  12. The best Keeper for me was Billy Mercer who only played for a season or so but won player of the year.
  13. Strong team 1Niki Maenpaa Korey played 70 mins and Taylor played the first half Goals from Szmodics and Rodri 2 Hakeeb Adelukan 3 Vince Harper 4 Ryley Towler 5 Aden Baldwin 6 Taylor Moore 7 Korey Smith 8 Sammie Szmodics 9 Antoine Semenyo 10 Rodri 11 Tyreeq Bakinson
  14. how about us Smith,Nagy,Afobe,Brownhill,Diedhiou,Hunt, and De silver I think that they will be rubbing their hands at that.
  15. Three players that we can not do without Bentley,Brownhill & Weimann the rest can be replaced but they are the heart of the team
  16. Never known it so close ever team can beat another there is no one running away with it, it just shows that if Brownhill had not scored we would be 10th, a few good results and you are world beater but a few bad results and your fighting relegation.
  17. Ding well for Himself made £39000 in eight weeks by doing up a house, good to see someone who made a bit in the game using it wisely.
  18. The first goal was important and they got it but the second (that was offside) killed us off and we never recovered Williams just put the cherry on the cake for them.
  19. Recism is part of football how we take the piss out of the Welsh when we play Cardiff and Swansea and even the chant 'I want to go home this place is a s---hole' can be said to be racist, it does go on to be more graphic and we have a racist incident. What City fans sang was not to bad but abusing stewards because of their race is totally unacceptable.
  20. The point about Fam is correct I noticed that Rodri got free kicks when pushed where Fam didn't as he was deemed to be the aggressor. Rodri looks a decent signing and hit the post besides having the offside goal a good addition to our squad.
  21. How many sad to say 19 old grounds that I have seen Bristol City play in.
  22. Yesterday I was ashamed of a large section of our 'fans' who decided to chant England and then Tommy Robinson it was not just a few of them it was a large section of them as it did resound around the ground, these 'supporters' should think very carefully before chanting those sort of chants as the two stewards in front of me said that they were going to report it,it's a pity that we cant ban them but if it was just one or two they would be thrown out.
  23. It should be decided by the clubs not the Ref they should have two VAR's a match and its up to them how to use them then if they use them up its down to the club.
  24. I met a bloke yesterday who has gone to every game for 7 years who did not get a ticket,a few years ago we got Haywood Swifts in the Fa cup and only had a few hundred tickets what if that happens again ? There should be a system where the people who travel to every away game can get a ticket, maybe a voucher given at Middlesbough away that gives priority or on the database just those that go to every away game are given priority. The Club does not appreciate these fans they just think that if they get the money for away travel it's OK, but it is not OK, as the real fans miss out !
