  1. So James Taylor will be able to tell Conway that "You've got a friend". (Sorry for another music pun).
  2. I can remember that once.
  3. Don't get all the criticism of Moore, what did he do so badly?
  4. I do think he dithers on the ball, let's opponents get in front of him and never seems to consider a forward pass. Plenty of time to come good, but right now he wouldn't be my first choice.
  5. Physical presence and passed the ball quickly, and more often than not, forwards.
  6. Just underlines the pointlessness of having these U-21s in the competition. Can't have done these kids much good either. Mind, Man U didn't seem to have a problem at Salford tonight.
  7. Think that was Vegard Hansen. Fjortoft had been doing well for Swindon, but Hansen had him in his pocket.
  8. So, the team against Yate had no idea how to play, but now it seems there is plenty of promise. A week is a long time on OTIB.
  9. He appears to have played 27 games last season. Not quite the picture painted by some.
  10. IIRC, John Galley was injured when we signed him, and he didn't do too badly.
  11. Have we ever had a more effective threat that Tinnion and Murray? Spot on passes and cool finishes again and again.
  12. So you are saying that the club giving everyone their money back, and leaving the club with zero income from matches would be a good thing?
  13. Yes, the club exists to play football and entertain fans - which it cannot do without their financial and vocal support. To suggest withdrawing that support, just because of a perceived slight by club management, would never cross my mind. I have never had this mysterious " connection to the club" that many seem to worried about losing. My connection is watching the team on the day. That is all I need. I want to see an entertaining and successful team, and I will continue to offer them what financial support I can.
