  1. Amusing to hear Dean Smith's excuse for today was that Man City's scorers today cost more than the entire Villa squad. May be true, but not much sympathy from me.
  2. Thought he had a good game, but his "tackle" near the end was a worrying reminder of his reckless streak.
  3. I'm really not a Johnson Out member, but isn't this an argument for a change of manager? A new perspective works wonders when the current management team can't see the wood for the trees.
  4. As an aside, has it been said anywhere how long Williams' suspension is. Will he back on Saturday, threatening Moore's place?
  5. Exactly. So WHY bring on Weimann, who could have benefitted from Palmer's passing and the put him on THE LEFT WING????? Please don't tell me we needed to match them up in midfield - I cannot recall Weimann getting a single pass while out wide, the only touches he had were when he popped up centrally, and could have scored at least one. I felt that Palmer, and most of the team, were getting their confidence back in the last bit of the first half, things were coming off and we were looking dangerous. Then the equaliser went in, and the confidence ebbed away. It was the same at Charlton - we looked like a decent time after going 2-1 up, but it only lasted about 10 minutes.
  6. Did he not captain England at U-19 level? Didn't see real bloopers today. He did over-run the ball on one foray into their half and banged the ground in annoyance with himself, but nothing came of it.
  7. Won't see Bakinson. He has gone on loan to Plymouth.
  8. Don't know how up to date it is, but Brentford's OS shows 29 players, not counting ones out on loan.

    Nagy

5 foot 10 according to Wiki.
  10. Perhaps they read the Daily Mail website I saw "Bristol City 21 Wasps 26"

    Eliasson.....

Anyone doubting Eliasson's value to the team should have watched Serge Airier for Spurs tonight. 6 or 7 crossing opportunities and didn't get one into the box. We take it for granted that Niclas will do the business, but it really isn't that easy.
  12. Anyone help me out? Maybe late 60s, there was a cup 2nd replay at Ashton, as a neutral ground. I went, but can't remember much about it. I think it was a Devon side (possibly Exeter ??) against someone from the Midlands (Nuneaton??). I used to go to watch games for something to do in those days. The worst was Rovers Reserves v Bournemouth. Passed an hour or so, sitting on the Eastville terracing.
  13. Is that really Jon Lansdown's job?
  14. Pretty sure he appears briefly on the highlights on the OS.
