  1. I could also change Wikipedia to show Salah, Mane and Van Dijk as being City players if it gets you that excited?
  2. Would like a lecture on how profit and loss works? If I spend money I don't have I make a loss. If I spend money in the hope I make more lonely as a result of it (see Aston Villa - for now), I'd better be pretty confident in my strategy or I could lose anawful lot more (see Derby, QPR, Birmingham etc).
  3. I bet it is quite nice there isn't it?
  4. Is anyone watching this n Robins TV outside of the UK? If so where? I am in North America and keep getting the message that the stream is only available in certain countries.
  5. Just left work and am on my way to Toronto (possibly via Moscow then Paris) just in time for kick off!
  6. Maybe a takeover (not done yet though I don't think) but they still are not making 10million profit are they
  7. Hope it's the first allocation. Given their financial issues would be odd if they could sell more but didn't.
  8. So as a City fan who lives practically very close to Charlton I am really hoping to be able to get tickets so me, my Dad and my 4 (soon to be 5) year old boy can lal go to his first Bristol City game together and my son can wear with pride the new City shirt we've got him for Xmas. Only issue is werw not season ticket holders or members because we live the wrong wide of London to be able to get back regularly enough. So please can enough of you stay away so I can make my boys Christmas wishes come true!?!?
  9. Part of a deal for Jarrod Bowen or Karlan Grant, yeah?
  10. Taylor could (by some) have been classed as 'prolific' at that level (16 in 27 at League One) but he could not cut it at Championship level. Think other posters are right in that the gulf in class is huge between top of League 1 and top 10 Championship.
  11. Sorry, I do not see how Pack fits into that formation or in the team at all once signings are integrated. For much of the 2nd half of last season and the first game of this Marlon looked horribly lost. I think the game that we need to play against top teams like Leeds is too fast for him and as Bielsa showed if you cut off our full backs playing the ball to Pack he does not have the engine to keep up with more direct balls into the channels. He was the main reason our midfield could not cope on Sunday as he was always 5 yards behind the play. Good servant to the club but now is the time for LJ to be ruthless.
  12. Apologies I meant operated by SLs Centreline. Informed two planes went to Nice. The other (which is owned by SL) stayed overnight and returned to Farnborough this morning with a couple. G-HARG flew empty to Nice and returned with one passenger.
  13. Own's it but it is not 'his jet'. Reliably informed that it was carrying a cpl in their 50s hence the drop off at Luton before returning back to base at Bristol.
  14. Thoughts on Adomah on a free? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48485114?ns_campaign=bbc_match_of_the_day&ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport
  15. Just popped over to New Jersey......might as well watch the Bristol City @ Hull game on the BCTV player seeing as I am out of the UK! #COYR #BackInTimeForTea
