We ain’t getting anything Tuesday night. By Saturday we could be 3 points off relegation and a huge Mother’s Day clash. If that ends in defeat I’m not sure LMs position is tenable.

In steps the Pearson old guard to keep us up.

Why would they turn to Andy King?

The powers that be to seeing a 'Pearson man' who was supposedly personally called out by Tinnion as not being good enough to start at centre back surely isn't going to be our caretaker manager...

After today do you still think this?  I think Manning clearly lacks the experience and skills to get the best out of this squad. The longer LM is here the worse it will get whereas with NP the longer he was here the better it would get

We can but dream. A manager who doesn't talk in clichés and jargon would be nice...

It’s time for Manning to depart, in my opinion.

Good post, I think your overall point is right.

This part interested me though as a month or so ago you were extremely positive with regards to some of the changes Manning had made. I was wondering what has made you so keen to get rid of him after the initial positivity? Do you no longer see any potential there?

  4. Really worrying interview. I'm trying my best to like him but it's a struggle, he's quite hard to listen to and like others have said isn't taking any responsibility at all... Not much to feel positive about at the moment!

Lots of talk and moans about our current situation, but what are you going to do?

Being fans, most will continue to attend/support/buy ST`s because thats what they feel they must do.

Moaning and groaning on here will be noticed by the press maybe and some BS employees but will be dismissed by them that matter as simply just that.

There has been other threads in the past re sheets/protests/walk outs ,obvious one would be to not buy ST`s and just go when you wanted to not easy choice for thousands with them and would effect clubs income.

So whats left, ride it out until SL gets an offer he cant refuse....hard choice again....its difficult but what are YOU going to do? something or nothing?

I've not renewed my RobinsTV subscription, can't justify £180 odd quid a year for dreadful football. Does that count as doing something? Probably not.

Do you not see any signs for concern ?

The squad looks broken, belief and creativity are gone and there was a lot of bickering on the pitch today.

One thing I thought this squad had was a one team ethic but that seems gone.

I’m neither in nor out at this time but I can see why people are concerned.

I see lots of signs of concern, we're absolutely terrible, awful to watch.

  7. Completely disillusioned with this club. Getting the point where I don't even care anymore... The football is terrible, the manager is completely uninspiring, dread watching us play at the moment.

Let’s be honest here. He’s a conference player at best and far worse than literally every single player in England who hasn’t come through our youth system.

Some chat about us putting ourselves in the playoff chase on the TV commentary after the Soton game. For those that like this kind of thing the numbers are pleasingly round

    Coventry in 6th. 4pts ahead and +11 goal difference - have exactly 1.5 pts/game.

For us to gain 5 pts on them (and obvs the rest of the field) within 14 games requires exactly 2.0 pts/game.

2.0 pts/game is 28 pts giving a total of 72pts. Average of 7th place in championship finish is 71.6pts.

That would be the mathematical minimum to scape into 6th.

If we arrived in the playoffs in that form it would be the same as the season form of whichever of Leeds, Soton and Ipswich misses out on 2nd.

    So pleasingly round numbers

28 points is extremely unlikely but it shows we were not that far away from the bottom rung
