  1. Young players need games in the first team to improve but playing young players will cost the team points as they make mistakes! It’s us fans that need to understand this and stopping shouting that they are not good enough. The coaches see them each day and know what they can do in training against the experienced pro’s this is what gives them a chance in the team! They come in and guess what they make a mistake and some keyboard warrior starts to shout out that they are not good enough this then builds and the player looses confidence then they get dropped. When they come back
  2. The parachute payments give the relegated teams a massive advantage with what they can pay players. If the can keep most of the players after coming down they should be able to get a top 6 place. Plus add the best players from other teams. The other key factor is team spirit if they are all pulling in the same direction if they have this as well then the upper end of the top 6 should be achieved.
  3. It's possible but we need some players back and score more goals. We are currently below the curve. I'm always amazed by how mush peoples mood swings from hope to doom and gloom. I know that it's the hope of the team going up that kills us when they miss out. After 40 plus years of following the club most seasons we have just stayed in the same division. Here's hoping for a better second half.
  4. At this point I would take 1 point for this match. Later in the season with more fit players it could be a different story.
  5. One of the games I wanted to go to this year. I would have thought that we would have taken a lot to this game.
  6. This is a point I have wanted to raise for a while. With a Director of football he would direct the style of play of the club and help recrutment of players. Managers/coaches coach to this and if and when you have a change of manager you don’t have to through away the whole squad and start again. Joe Jordan could be the right man for this with the right experience and links to make it work.
  7. The 5 year Ave for safety is 46Pts. Get the players back and have a good run and we could be close to Pray off's! I can't see us spending any cash,
  8. If we could answer that and sale it we could make a fortune, either that or be the manager to get the team up. Not looking for excuses but with some of the injured players back in the squad. I think we would be more consistent with results. It will be interesting to see what happens in the transfer window.
  9. @mozo You said!!!! "It's the routine flatline between game weeks 18 and 24 that seems to kill our seasons". Well here we go again.
  10. Remember it’s going to be harder to sign players from outside of the UK.
  11. 91 for Automatic Promotion 1.97 76 For the Pray Off's 1.65 46 to stay up 1.00
  12. I’ve ran it for the last 4 seasons! I post it about once a month on different links. It nice to look at when we are doing well.
