    @mozo Update!!!!
  2. @Shtanley Whats in the POD cast tomorrow? I find it hard to listen after a defeat but that is just a distant memory now!!!!
  3. Just said Full-Time (BBC) that it's the first time scene 1905 that we have won 6 on the bounce!!!
  4. Having looked at it I think we need 1.65 points per game for a play of spot. 76 points is the ave over the last 5 years to archive the play off's. So 28 points required, on our current run that's achievable.

    mozo you asked for this! I've gone back in and updated the Averages as when I first did it it was for the Season 16-17. The best news is that we have already passed the Ave for safety over the last 5 seasons!!!!
  6. I think that each team get so many fixtures so I would guess they needed to cover an Ipswich game.
  7. Firstly look at the teams promoted over the last few years. Most come back down after 3 years if not in the first year Cardiff & Fulham. In a one off game yes the top end of the Championship can match the 10 to 20 of the Premier League but over the course of the season! The main difference is over £100 million per season.
  8. So has Leeds gained an advantage? You but they have or why do it.
  9. They also had a dinner on the 20th Anniversary ! I was luckily given 2 tickets by the club. Had a good night but less of the players could make it. It was great to hear the player point of view of that night when all hell broke loose in the away end when Brian scored. I have to say the Liverpool fans were great! Graeme Souness resigned as Liverpool manager just after the game.
  10. Dave, I'm involved with football coaching. As part of one of my courses we were encouraged to watch a High standard of coaching delivery. I watch a Conference level team training before a big game. After speaking with the coach he told me that if I was to stay at the training ground Charlton Athletic would be be arriving shortly and I could also watch them. This was great for me but all I saw was a phase of play and set piece drills for the next.60 minutes.That I saw Charlton Athletic play at the Ashton Gate and when they set up for the set piece that they had practiced I knew what was going to happen. The interesting point is that they did not score that game. So that would the spying coach learn? What the set piece drills were and what they were working on for phases of play. Would this help yes of course it would but as you saw with the Leeds manager he had all of the video analysis so by using this he had reduced the chance of his team being could out by any new set piece not used by that team before in any video.
  11. @Shtanley just keep doing what you are doing. Always a great listen even if I don agree with some of the points of view from what you read out.

    The Black line is the current trend line for the season. It currently shows us missing out but the gap is closing. At the start of the season i had us to finish 8th to 16th.
