  1. Who many City fans were in attendance then? I’ve just woke up to see what happened.
  2. I blame Webb-Ellis!!!
  3. Just a small thing the Football club does not own the ground!
  4. If the fee is £7m that’s nearly 19 Andy Tilson’s!!!
  5. They did not target DaSilva as that is their normal tactic. Lee Johnson did his Pro licence with the Wolves manager and commented on this!
  6. Being a tier 1 Academy does come at a large extra cost most of which is due to staffing levels. The advantage is in that you can approach lower level Academy players about moving to your club with a preset fixed compensation fee to be paid! Also for a tier 1 you need set facilities of which we don't have and even with the improvement at the training ground we shall still be short of the requirement.
  7. I luckey meet with Nigel Adkin at a football conference a couple of years ago. He came across as a good guy and if it fell right (us wanting a manager and him being available) the type of manager that could do will here. He likes to promote young player, plays a good style of football and want to progress the clubs he works at. I don't think Hull will be progressing forward this coming season so that could be why he jumped ship.
  8. @Shtanley, Well done great interview. I have had the chance to speak to Brian a number of times. The work he is doing in invaluable to the club, it's the right policy to get the young players out playing Adult football. If they don't make the standard at the club we are now moving them on for a fee with a good sale on clause that may bring in more money in the future. Through Brian's comments you can hear his love of the club. In his heart we are second to his beloved Newcastle. The club is moving forward and it should be attractive for players to come into.
  9. Nothing wrong with Barton hill. Like most places has had its issues!
  10. I hope the squad has some balance. We have a young team may be Albert could be the experience voice we need in the changing room.
  11. It’s not legislation just a company doing a good job. 18 months ago I walked in to Wembley for a big game and next to no searches were done!
  12. The reason you were asked to take a sip was due to the rules about fluids on planes. You you are happy to drink it, it safe! Good to hear that the procedures were followed correctly.
  13. The same for me... Also I hope that FFP rips into the club who after being bankrupt at the start of the season spent £3 - 3.5 million on Tammy's wages alone! If Birmingham were docked 9 points it should be interesting to see what happens to Ashton Villa.
  14. No Germany but Russia! It came from the Crimea war due to the declaration of war listed Berwick but the peace terms did not!!!
  15. If LJ was to be offered I would like to think we would go for Hughton.
