  1. At this point I would take 1 point for this match. Later in the season with more fit players it could be a different story.
  2. One of the games I wanted to go to this year. I would have thought that we would have taken a lot to this game.
  3. This is a point I have wanted to raise for a while. With a Director of football he would direct the style of play of the club and help recrutment of players. Managers/coaches coach to this and if and when you have a change of manager you don’t have to through away the whole squad and start again. Joe Jordan could be the right man for this with the right experience and links to make it work.
  4. The 5 year Ave for safety is 46Pts. Get the players back and have a good run and we could be close to Pray off's! I can't see us spending any cash,
  5. If we could answer that and sale it we could make a fortune, either that or be the manager to get the team up. Not looking for excuses but with some of the injured players back in the squad. I think we would be more consistent with results. It will be interesting to see what happens in the transfer window.
  6. @mozo You said!!!! "It's the routine flatline between game weeks 18 and 24 that seems to kill our seasons". Well here we go again.
  7. Remember it’s going to be harder to sign players from outside of the UK.
  8. 91 for Automatic Promotion 1.97 76 For the Pray Off's 1.65 46 to stay up 1.00
  9. I’ve ran it for the last 4 seasons! I post it about once a month on different links. It nice to look at when we are doing well.
  10. @Tinmans Love Child You are correct the best start so far. You you look we always start well its the end of the season that is the issue!
  11. No. but remember their are lies, dam lies and statistics
  12. As per the title!!! Thats what you get with young players they can make mistakes.
  13. The next two weeks midweek match’s are on their!
  14. Great post. If our team were to average 1.6 over the rest of the season plus the 12 we have in the bank we would have 79 points which would be a play off spot and in some seasons a top two finish.
  15. They are out looking most weekends. I know most of the scouts around Bristol from all of the clubs you listed plus other clubs as well.
  16. Joe Jordan for me to take this roll. Plus he only lives down the road. I see him quite often watching youth football as his son coaches.
  17. Shtanley, I would like to post my thanks to all of the Team at OSIB. I’ve enjoyed listening to your POD Cast. The Cider with Episodes have been first class. It shows that when we get a player here they love it. Keep up the good work.
  18. I was at an FA dinner where Nigel Atkins was the guest speaker. He was asked about his next job he wanted. His response was he wanted a project where he could advance a club. He did a great job at Southampton before they replaced him with Mauricio Pochettino A good fit from my point of view.
  19. A True legend of the game! Good to see the players clapping before the game but not the send off he deserves there should be the fans singing his name at all 91 league clubs. I hope that when we get back into grounds this can be corrected.
  20. I used to work for the company! When the Blackthorn taste changed and people from Bristol stopped drinking it (most started to drink Thatchers) Natch was the saving grace in Bristol. The brands are now owned by Magners and to be honest they don’t care about the small sales of Natch in Bristol they look for the volume. The rest of the Country like sweeter cider where we like it to be a lot dryer. So in short I would not be surprised.
