  1. Man United watching this and salivating at the prospect of having grey Gareth managing them soon. If ever a manager's been carried along by the quality of his players, its this anorak. Leading in a World Cup semi final and blew it. Leading in a Euros final and blew it. The blokes a chinless dork that says the right things and couldn't manage a w*nk in a sock.
  2. Brings back (shivers) memories of Pulis and Parsons
  3. If that wasn't a 'cut and paste' job you need to get out more Seagull

Didn't he change the pies a few seasons ago?
  5. Love Croatias kit. And Italy blue is a classic
  6. It's the hope that kills....
  7. Correct. It worked OK at Luton last season didn't it?
  8. Wouldn't it be hilarious if the studio guest was the one and only Mr N Pearson? Would he do it or would he be aware of the issues it could raise?
  9. I think it's going to need a result of Tinnion/Swansea proportions to get him out this season. Nothing short of a footballing earthquake that humiliates him and the club. Leicester could put 3 or 4 past us, the stands could be a seething cauldron of pi$$ and vinegar and the club will just see it as part of the pain of rebuilding. I think we're stuck until at least the autumn. People need to start not going. It's OK saying you've had enough, the football's crap etc but the Lansdowns won't wake up until there's 12k in the stands. They're businessmen not football people.
  10. Please merge with 'now is the time to get rid'. It speaks for itself
  11. In the hierarchys opinion he is the new guy, he is being given time to look at the squad, he will be allowed to bring in new players and he will get a pre-season and 3 months of next season. And in October when were in a relegation fight and crowds are down to 10-12k it will be the right time to take decisive action and reconsider the new direction that the club want to go in. Welcome to Groundhog Season Bristol City style
  12. And weren't they were managed by Dean Saunders at the time? That was a sickening game but the pies were good
  13. Cotts had a few other 'personality ' issues from what I heard from people at the club at the time.
  14. 6 more points. More turgid football. More irrelevant platitudes from snake Tinnion. This season can't finish fast enough. It's been a forking car crash.
  15. Are they or don't they have the top six squad expectations that our owner/chairman have of us now? Oh, and we're not that sh1t really, we used to be OK but now our manager's sh1t so we are too
  16. Ah, the if only. Great advert for Championship football. Coventry should have won it in normal time and thoroughly deserved the win
  17. I'll eat humble pie on this one. I thought he was overrated and we'd picked Bournemouths pocket. He looks like he could be unstoppable in a couple of years. Heading for a bigger club soon for a healthy profit. With Toney reported to be £50 million minimum he could easily be £25 million soon
  18. Remember clenching for most of the game after we scored and then getting stuck in a car park until nearly midnight. Possibly the game that got us promoted. Heady days
  19. Laughable. Reminds me of the 'Airplane' poster
  20. The phrase "power in the hands of fools " springs to mind
