Dress it up how you will, it's a shit result, considering GJs original top 2 aspirations, which more recently changed to top 6!

We are 11th, 7 points of play offs, 9 off relegation. 5 places off gurus latest target.

Well said. Fact. we're drifting aimlessly towards this.............. :tumbleweed::tumbleweed: is someone looking at this among the management team? I ****** hope so

Mindjuicer, Gary Johnson assembled that squad, they are his players.

When GJ was playing, do you think he blamed the manager if he had a bad game?

Or to put it another way, did GJ assemble a squad which, at the start of the season, everyone was universally happy with - yet which was doomed to massively underperform this season, especially in the last few games? Is it something about the players he's bringing in?

It's not all down to lack of replacing McIndoe.

And when you consider how Skuse, Maynard, Sproule and a few others have stepped up, it's all the more remarkable.

Interestingly if you hear him talk about his playing career he blames lack of opportunity for not having much of one. I remember him saying something about the players in front of him in the team never getting injured.

Go look at the posts over the summer, you'll find that quite a few people pointed out the imbalance in the squad. You'll even find that it was remarked upon the summer previous (the lack of wide options and left sided players) and it's got worse. It is partly down to not replacing McIndoe, especially since even with him here we only had two left sided players and needed at least one more to provide competition.

So universally happy with the squad? No way. Perhaps universally happy with the players brought in - but not with the players not brought in if you take my meaning. You can't cry "well you say this in hindsight" when many said it in advance of it happening.
