city_pete
Just looking at the championship table and specifically the home form of Hull. What struck me most: Games at home played 9 Goals For 6 Goals against 9. They have achievable 3 wins , 3 draws and 3 losses. What all this means I don.t know, i suppose they subscribe to the if you don,t score make sure you don,t let one in. Any thoughts?
Alex_BCFC
Have struggled to score it would seem. It is a game we would expect to get something out of it after the run of late but in this league it could easily be a defeat if we don't do the things we have been doing lately. Jon atyeo is my dad
Interesting stats as my old mate Sean Connery once said " statistics are like bikinis! What you see is interesting , but what they conceal is vital"
ashtonvale
Hull's home form over the last 6 is dire! Last 6 home games, they've won 1 drawn 2 and lost 3, with a points average of .83 per game Our away form is not bad over last 6 away matches Last 6 away games, we've won 2 drawn 1 and lost 3, with a points average of .1.17 per game Over last 3 Home games Hull won 1 and lost 2 Away games City won 2 and lost 1 Stats would suggest that we are going to shade it, mainly based on recent form (3 games).. I'm going for a 2 - 1 win for City.. (and thats prob. the kiss of death)
Robbored
Stats are interesting but if they meant much we'd all be winning large quantities of dosh on the fixed odds or pools every week. The huge difference is that City are going into the game full of confidence whist Hull have been struggling for form. An early City goal would be perfect. ashtonvale
Agreed, stats do not give you the whole answer.. They do however support your comment as to which side has the higher confidence level, based on results, going into the game. Lets hope the game runs to recent form, with Albert and Brett ripping 'em to shreds. It would be brilliant going into the Christmas schedule with another 3 points. COYR!!
