If we signed him purely to play under 21s for 1 yr only then we wouldnt be sending him on loan. Not every youth player we have will break into the youth team! But nice to see one out on loan, they have been playing well, will be good to see how he does. It's possible he is good enough and has infact taken a step up to a more phyicical, competitive league. We will never see the likes of Ian Wright, Dado Prso, Bradley Pritchard, Didier Drogba, Ivan Sproule & Lee Trundle again if players are labelled as 'haven't made it' by the time they're 22. As much as I full believe in the academy system and look forward to seeing the Lita's, Carey's & Skuse's of the future, brigning in players later in their lives shouldn't be ruled out.
