Gazred
Ingredient X if you like in any football teams success. You make your own luck they say. What with opposition players missing sitters in the last couple of games and Cunningham crossing in a goal, i wonder how true that is. Its no coincidence that were getting results and now appear to have a bit of luck on our side. Funny how it chooses to come and go as it pleases! Westonred22
They say you make your own luck......when you start to put in a hard working shift and everyone is 100% committed and trying hard to win games, that's when luck begins to follow you. Lets hope luck.....together with hard work stays with us until the end of the season.
Spike
Not sure how many people have watched Derren Brown but he did a show on luck and proved that luck is down to the person or peoples involved. Essentially he showed that those who are willing to take chances and not miss opportunity's are often the ones seen as "lucky" when truth is unless you take the chance or opportunity you'll never get the "lucky" outcome.I don't believe in luck when it comes to things that you have control over, we won yesterday because we were a lot better than we were previously and pushed harder. pride of the west
There really is no thing as luck. As spike said, if you try hard and willing to take a risk then once in a while it will turn out in your favour. Cunninghams goal wasnt luck. He put in a cross and the keeper had a mare. Thats the fact of the matter.
Redtucks
But what about bad luck? As Bernard Manning said once, "There's a lot of bad luck about. What about about the bloke with no arms and no legs that was swimming the channel. He had to pack it in cuz he got cramp in his ears!"
