Ray White
Didn't take long. That's the day my season ticket goes back. Here here. If this happens I will gladly run onto the pitch and lamp him and accept the lifetime ban.

Andy082005
Just about to post the same thing. This has come very sudden, at a time when results have started to improve all be it slightyl. Sounds like last year when McInnes went...I think someone has been sounded out and offered the job, maybe even sounded out after the Sheff Utd game If its Holloway, I will be gutted

Greenman15
I would be surprised if it was Holloway, not just the fact the fans dislike him, but more to the fact he can not stand the club.

FredTheRed08
I don't think Holloway hates City, I think he has always had a grudging respect for City and their support. To be honest, I'd be happy with anyone but Di Canio. Now that would be a disaster waiting to happen.
brady bunch
Holloway would get my vote dispite the past. I would take the passion, local knowledge and fun, over dour boring draw specialists...

JammyOne
Holloway would do a decent job for sure, he's everything we need from a manager. I'm willing to accept him... not sure about everyone else though.
RockleazeRed
I remember him scoring against us and standing up and openly swearing infront of my Dad for the first time. Hated the man for a while. However, he has proven himself to be a decent manager. I'd have him. Cue abuse.

Admin phantom Posted November 28, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted November 28, 2013 Love him or hate him, he must be current favourite for the job. Based on what ? All the Hollowhead fanatics will be going crazy with excitement, just think Penrice in as number 2!
Mad Cyril
Er hasnt he just binned his job as he wasnt up for the effort of a relegation fight? Are we assuming he would not take a cheeky peek st the league one table first???
Threshersleftboot
Football in Bristol is at an all time low, i think it needs somebody with the character of Holloway to reignite the passion of the fans and make it enjoyable to watch our team play on a Saturday again instead of a horrible feeling of hopelessness which i have been getting for far to long. Northern Red
I hate the bloke and would never have imagined being happy about his appointment but frankly I'd take him over a lot of the other names being bandied about, like Steve Cotterill, Di Canio etc.
formerly known as ivan
Forgetting the past and looking to the future, Holloway is an absolute must!
Murraysrightplum
Millen has been doing a better job at palace than Hollowhead did. He took over from Dougie Freedman when they were flying high, with easily the best squad in the championship and nearly ****ed it up. Done crap in the prem everytime
Northamptonshire Red
Didn't he say in his book that he *would*, if offered, manage City? I'm talking 'favourite' in terms of public perception, Hollowhead-out of work Bristolian ergo he's likely to be in the running for the City job. Tomo
If you simply base the decision as if it was any other business (not football) Ian Holloway has the best record / cv and is available. In recent times he has the best record of getting clubs to the premiership etc.I would accept that business decision and tuck my small minded-ness under my pillow...
