Wanderingred
10 I think. We've failed to hold onto a lead on ten seperate occasions so far... And managed to hold onto one just twice.
Super
10 I think. We've failed to hold onto a lead on ten seperate occasions so far... And managed to hold onto one just twice. I worked it out as ten as well.
TV Tom
2 points dropped against Bradford, Port Vale & Notts, 1 point against Coventry, Wolves, Swindon & Crewe, 10 points, that would put us in the top half!
joe bryans right foot
Shocking statistics which goes some way to explaining why we are where we are
TRL
I'm not sure what we have dropped more of, bollocks or points.
22A
it's not a recent phenomenon either, it's happened under the last three managers. A few seasons ago we equalised against Sheff U in the 94th minute and still lost. Against Leicester we took the lead in the 92nd minute and still drew. A few years before that, City were beating Reading 1-0 and the board went up showing 4 minutes of stoppage time. The Reading players physically looked relieved as they now knew they still had time to equalise which they did.
Mendip City
Conceding late goals points towards a lack of concentration.... Linked to a lack of fitness? Anyway, that's 10 points lost at the death of games - add them on and we'd be comfortable in the league. Add on the points turned up by Baldock missing one on ones and we'd be in the play offs! GrahamC
10 I think. We've failed to hold onto a lead on ten seperate occasions so far... And managed to hold onto one just twice. Surely as we've won twice in the league we must have held on to a lead twice? The 3 away games at Crewe, Port Vale and yesterday have seen us drop 5 points on their own in the last couple of minutes of each and only yesterday could we be considered unlucky. Fiale
Wagstaff giving away a needless penalty. Flints own goals. Fielding going on a little excursion to the corner flag. Parishes error. Shorey going AWOL for a few seconds before remembering he needed to deal with the defender now goal bound. Errors that you don't expect to see so many of in just half a season, and that you would expect to even out in time but haven't. We'd be in around the playoff spots without those errors. That's not counting all the late goals we have conceded... We are cursed... CURSED I tell you...

22A
Thinking further; in our last promo season we won by scoring in the final few minutes at Crewe & Donny. Going back further 3 goals in four mins at Mansfield to win 5-4 and a last gasp winner at Eastville in the 1984 cup game. Generally however, regardless of Manager & players, City over the years (especially recently) appear to conced so many goals in the last 5 mins of games regardless of the opposition. Aizoon
A gypsy curse hangs over this club Yes. We should have bought the lucky heather from that nice gypsy lady when the ground opened in 1904. On reflection, "Bugger off, you daft old pikey" was probably ill-advised

Redrobbin
with goals we have conceded in the last 10 minutes, must be at least 12 Unfortunately this is not a new phenomenon. Robin1988
We lost from ahead against Swindon. (3 points) We drew from ahead against Bradford, MK Dons, Port Vale, Tranmere, Notts County and Oldham (12 points). 15 points dropped from winning positions, almost a point a game. Awful.
