Can't Make Tomorrow's Match

Agreed. If we continue on the current form I wouldn't be surprised to see every home league game sell out to home fans. There are some season ticket holders who are unable to make the odd game (or more), I am sure this could be put in place.

I am sure the club has done it in the past as well, so I can't imagine it is too hard.

Everton have a partnership with stubhub where fans can sell their seat through the website - not sure how exactly it works but it is all authorised. Obviously works better at the bigger clubs where there is more demand but perhaps something like this could be done here?

This would be a really good idea.

Think a lot of clubs use viagogo.

Just rang up the ticket office and they basically said nothing could be done for this scenario.

Shame really. Club missing out on money. And an empty seat.

Can you legally sell it to someone else?

I don't want it - just more interested for the future. Can we do something on here?

Not even really that bothered about selling it. Just think it's a shame that the seat will be empty.

Surely a quick bit of computer wizziness could make my seat "available" in the on-line booking system.

Only missing out on money in the event of a sell out. That will happen once or twice all season.

Good point. Although, if the success of this season continues, I believe it may happen more often than once or twice

Agreed. MK was a sell out (just), and Chesterfield must have been close as it was made all ticket.

We also haven't had any of the "big" matches eg Preston, Swindon, yeovil, Sheffield united. All of these are likely to be more attractive to home fans and yet likely yo attract a big away following so limiting overflow in the Atyeo which I believe has been used most games this season.

Don't you have a friend or somebody who would like to go? The seat has already been paid for so I wouldn't expect anymore money for it. My son had a friend who came up from Devon. He wanted to watch the game and one of our friends couldn't make it to the game so he borrowed his season card. He enjoyed it so much, the pre match socialising and then the game itself, that he is thinking when he comes to live in Bristol permanently he will buy a season ticket.

This sort of thing will bring new fans into the club and bring up revenue.

The season ticket is "non-transferable" but I think it is possible to print out a match ticket for your seat if you let the club now. A friend could then collect from the ticket office before the match, this was a while ago so I would have to check if this can still be done. I completely agree with you that the club should be trying to do everything in it's power to bring new supporters through the turnstiles.

I wouldn't worry about the non transferable thing!!

Which stand is this for? I live in th FOD and can collect if it is still available.

Apologies for the confusion, but I now live in Southampton. Originally from Bream thus the name FoD City.

Blimey- 2 people from the FOD who both venture out of the forest. I thought those stories were just to frighten children.  :colder:

No probs, I have sorted my ticket now. Similar story, I have 3 ST's, two are for my kids who wont be going, but my brother says he wants to go tomorrow. I rang the club and they upgraded one of the kids ST's to an adult.
