Bountyhunter Fanzine - New Issue Out Tomorrow

Like the new A4 version

Nice one, SDBS36.

It has been a long-held wish of the BH to do an A4 size issue, since...oooh...since we weren't top of the league.

This issue seemed the perfect one to try it out with some longer articles included.

Most likely back to A5 next time, however. Bit too cumbersome for squashing up in yer Dolman seat for some. Damned sell-out crowds, where've all they empty seats gone where we could lay our paraphernalia for 90 mins (or 80 mins, depending if you listen for the Fire Drill)?

Cheers for your feedback, much appreciated.

We did look at the long-range forecast and see it was gonna be sunny...and that the usual A5 size might be inadequate to keep the Sun out...

As Bristol Rob points out, much of our readership like it to fit in the pocket (much of our readership also appear to be in the pub! Not sure what that says about us. Or them...). It's either get the customers to buy a coat with bigger pockets or do A5 size!

It was humbling to visit Tommy Ware's grave in Belgium, near Ypres. Researching and finding out his 'troubled' boyhood had been turned around by signing for the City and playing well in goal...only to be cut down by the atrocities of war is something that stopped us in our tracks. We left a little memento by his graveside in Poperinge, to let him know he may be gone but not forgotten.

Interesting. Popperinge and the ypres salient is an incredible place. Few of the Parkenders went over together in March and going again in March to the somme on this occasion. Brings so much into perspective

Agree with Spudski, liked the A4, even with sunglasses on it was useful to keep the sun out of my eyes in the Dolman.

Think of next season, "Enclosure", no Williams stand there to do so before it goes dark...

Keep the A4!

You may be swimming against the tide, GrahamC.

Mind, we were thinking of doing the next one A3, and so on...

Tommy is buried in one of the smaller cemeteries, just 450 graves, so it was relatively straightforward to find him. It could have been a lot worse as he was fatally wounded whilst fighting in the Zonnebeke sector of the front line and the main Allied cemetery in that sector is Tyne Cot, which has over 11000! A sobering sight that place for sure.

Are you selling today??

Got to the ground at silly a clock and couldn't find a seller.

Hung around the ground until two minutes ago and came in the ground to escape the ground.

Gutted to have missed a copy.

Could you reserve me a copy of you have any left.

Hello boatman, we were around today sorry to have missed you. Not to worry though, we have some left.

We'll be selling at next home Notts County on Jan 10.

If you can't wait that long, we're in Portishead tonight/tomorrow if you fancy a pint somewhere!
