NiceRed
Got 1 spare ticket for tonight; will take face value or even a bit less. I'll be in the Leyton Technical Pub, then Coach & Horses before the game to exchange. Message me if interested. 1 Quote Link to comment

Aizoon
Remember a floodlight failure at Brisbane Road when we were two-nil down and our promotion run was on the rocks. The bustards got them working again Quote Link to comment
reddogkev
So they used to be a cricket team? I think we'll win 2 - 1, but wouldn't be surprised to see a 1 - 1 draw tonight against Leyton Orient Shipping Line. Come on the City. Quote Link to comment

Aizoon
Only 1-0 down Aiz., 74-75 season. Prolly right, Noggers. It felt like 2-0 though. What a shithole Brisbane Road was! Quote Link to comment

havanatopia
Matchroom if you please.. lots of redevelopment; all 4 corners built with blocks of flats with bootiful views of the pitch.. from the outside it hardly looks like a football ground. 9,400 capacity or thereabouts. Cricket Club played footie in winter and the team was born in answer to reddog Off for some kip.. give me something glorious to wake up to me babbers. Quote Link to comment

Nogbad the Bad
Prolly right, Noggers. It felt like 2-0 though. What a shithole Brisbane Road was! I much preferred it then to how it looks now. Such a disappointing game, City had a real off night and it seemed like a Godsend when the lights went out. Think it was announced as the 'final attempt', after a good quarter of an hour, when they suddenly got them going again, and the last 10 minutes or so of the match was played out without City troubling them. CotswoldRed
A tough game on the cards tonight. A point won't be a disaster by any means. Quote Link to comment

I was living in Reading at the time and I went with a City mate who lived in Southend (yes, the ends of the Known Universe ). We ended up in a weird pub near Liverpool Street where everyone was dressed in full teddy boy & girl gear, even the grandparents and the little babbers. Quote Link to comment
BristolBEAT
A tough game on the cards tonight. A point won't be a disaster by any means. Not for me. 8 points clear over 6. Should be looking for 7 points minimum from the next 3 concecutive away games. Quote Link to comment
bakes
5 notes on 3-1 City Luke Freeman to score anytime 35/1. you reds 1 Quote Link to comment
Nogbad the Bad
Imagine there'll be more squad rotation tonight. Recalls for Joe Bryan, Wade Elliot, even perhaps Jet? Saville certain to be included in the 18 - without Matt Smith we've only got the bare minimum18 to choose from, including the 2 GK's. Quote Link to comment
Red Wardy Returns
3-0 City Quote Link to comment
redsquirrel
im thinking we will give them a spanking tonight, 4-0 at half time running out 7-2 to the good Quote Link to comment
mikep
5 notes on 3-1 City Luke Freeman to score anytime 35/1. you reds 3 - 1 has been a popular score this season so I will go with that. Quote Link to comment
And Its Smith
Oh my goodness. Didn't realise Leyton was this much of a whole. Makes Swindon look nice. Quote Link to comment
Andy082005
Just had a text from a friend who has gone on then official 'CATS'....apparently they have got stuck slap bang in the middle of central London by Tower Bridge and will be struggling to make kick off. One organiser has got off and got the tube as they are carrying a load of tickets that are to be collected at the ground ...and another fan has got off and decided to make his own way to the ground Quote Link to comment

Heard later they were from a supporters coach which had been delayed in traffic - can't remember if it was during the first half or at h/t but they must have missed a fair chunk of the game. miketh2nd
I think this game would of been ideal for jet to start .. Good to see pack keeping his place and Bryan back in . I prefer pack over Elliot although Smith must push more forward otherwise front 3 are too isolated . Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
Orient have found some form lately and their pitch is awful apparently, I agree with previous poster than a point would be good result, fear a defeat though 2-1 Orient. Quote Link to comment
