Numero Uno
Thw Swine scabbed a 1-1. Means Preston have a difficult game on Sunday whereas MK beating Yeovil ought to be a shoe-in.

WhistleHappy
So we won't be seeing Bornmuff, Watford, Millwall, Wigan and Blackpool next season. Glad to see Millwall and Blackpool down and glad to see Muff promoted - great stuff. No need to promote Muff, its always been popular, always in demand, often in short supply! slartibartfast
So, after their 15 year hay ride, it's back to reality for Wigan. I would say where they belong, but they only joined in 79. Springfield Park with three and a half thousand, it won't be long til they get that sort of crowd again !
Aizoon
No need to promote Muff, its always been popular, always in demand, often in short supply! Never really associated it with going up though. Quite the contrary, in fact
WolfOfWestStreet
I lived in New Cross for 9 months in my uni halls, Millwall got to the FA cup final that year. Tim Cahill was their star player managed my Dennis Wise. The Den was 10 mins from my flat. Anyway they were very much a community club who's reputation is spoiled by literally about 25 old timers who still think they are rock hard. Which is a real shame. WolfOfWestStreet
It's funny how these 25 fans make trouble at pretty much every single home and away game isn't it? Just the other week they had a premature pitch invasion against Derby and were apparently throwing coins and bottles into the away end. Every club has idiots, Millwall just have loads more. archie andrews
They really don't though. They don't travel, their away support is poor.you really think its "25" old timers?jesus christ
hoxton casual
How Millwall are allowed to continue as a football club is a shame on English football. Every other club gets hammered for minor crowd indiscretions when Millwall is a bear pit with restrictions on away fans to cater for their behviour
Bar BS3
They really don't though. They don't travel, their away support is poor. Did you see them at Rotherham this season..? Have you seen them ever at Ashton Gate..?! Your recollection of these lovely cockneys is very different to most peoples!
22A
Rotherham staying up means we get to renew our mutual love in next season. Last time City were promoted out of this division, we did so be relegating Rotherham and many fans admitted a soft spot for them.

Last time City were promoted out of this division, we did so be relegating Rotherham and many fans admitted a soft spot for them. The se soft spot that led to their fans attacking our pubs during a later fixture, which led to all our "boys" turning out up at their place but a no show from them..? There are some odd recollections of some teams fans on this thread. I remember all the lovely Swindon fans the last couple of seasons, forming a guard of honour for our arrival at the CG car park. That was so nice of them!

oldstandrobin
I used to live on Winterstoke Road for years and we always hated Millwall coming as they got off the train at Parson Street and had a police escort to AG. Nearly always something broken in my front garden. B*****y animals, leopards dont change their spots
bobajob
Swindon under-12s that would be? Why do the FL let them get away with it? Phileas Fogg
Wow reading this I'm clearly in the minority then. Much rather Millwall as I said earlier! London game - lots of London exiles and we always travel well to there. Rotherham is yet another Northern game (with Watford and Bournemouth going up, that's two less closeish away games gone already!) There is always a good atmosphere vs them and a bit of needle! Much better than it will be vs Rotherham!
