In theory it's a decent idea, with the aim of improving the chances of us producing Test quality spinners. However they've then scheduled 6 of the 16 Championship games before May ends and another 4 in September. So that leaves a grand total of 6 games in the height of summer, great planning.... His batting`s been suffering lately and I think that`s part of it (think Hashim Amla). also, I can see him missing more games as he gets older so that might be why too. Chris Rogers can't stand Chris Gayle but i'm not sure how involved Rogers will be in the t20 next season or whether Maynard will even be that bothered if Rogers likes Gayle or not.
