I think the orignal plan was for the Hundred to clash with the 50 over tournament, the aim being that the counties would use it to blood youngsters. I booked over the phone and the lady said that for County matches they get around 1500 - so plenty of room even with restricted numbers. Obviously very different for one day matches. Incidentally, I am sure that, whatever the official MCC site might say, there are three Somerset players in the current England team.
