Hopefully we can plough on in this session. It looks like there could be some difficult batting conditions this evening and tomorrow.

An interesting stat that I heard this morning was that Somerset have had 6 centurions (now 7?) in the Bob Willis Trophy this season compared with Essex's 1. Our bowling attack has been fantastic but our batsman certainly deserve some credit.

Only way its decided without a result is if both sides complete a 1st innings.  Our best hope in a way is to get as high a score on the board we can then bowl them out for less..
