He loved Taunton, the crowd, his team mates, all of course helped by his brilliant form. So he wants to come back and I’m sure the club want him back. I can personally vouch that he likes it in Taunton, that was a late hard night lol
ralphindevon
Ha! Yeah I had a quick chat to him and you could tell his enthusiasm for Somerset wasnt just to please me, he was absolutely loving his time at the club. It's great because he plays all over the world and is bound to speak highly of us which really helps and why we've had players like Babar Azam and Chris Gayle in the past because people speak highly about our club

Quite a bit early season when the football’s still going on though. I’m fortunate that I only work part time now but many I know don’t get to see any championship cricket after June which is nuts. Kid in the Riot
I said a while back this is the reason the ECB created The Hundred and are persisting with it. They didn't secure the franchise rights of T20 cricket but they have done with The Hundred so stand to make a lot of money out of it. This £400m offer is way below market value but bigger bids are inevitable. Could be good news for county cricket as there'd be plenty of cash to give counties a windfall from it. https://www.skysports.com/cricket/news/12123/12755859/the-hundred-ecb-receives-400m-private-equity-bid-for-flagship-competition
1960maaan
Just turned the Test back on, slow hard work by the look of it. The one thing that makes me smile is the clunky way they drop Sensodine into the commentary and those awful adverts . The company must love the mentions, but it is so bad.
