Might go down for the quarter final, never been before so not sure how easy it is for tickets.

What stand is best for atmosphere? If any.

Is there any part that is covered to keep out of the sun a bit if it’s another day like today?

Presume he’ll be playing in the test match

Ah thought it would be during a gap.

No doubt England will call up experienced water bottle carriers in Overton, Gregory, Banton, Leach and probably Lammonby after tonight

Presuming it’s a full house allowed, you’ll have to look out for ticket details, there should be few after members available but you won’t get much choice on stands. It’s a 7pm start so no worries re the sun

Ha, yes good point.

of course the one we should worry about is Liam Livingston

It clashes directly with the Headingley test so Buttler won't be available. I'd hope Livingstone, Mahmood and Parkinson will be but who knows with the ECB.

We're similar to Somerset and a few of the other teams in that when we're good we can beat anyone and vice versa when we're bad.

Gloucestershire are an improved side but seeing as we were without Banton, Abell, Davey, Gregory & Waller (who plays in all the T20s) it was a great win.

No county produces anywhere near as many players as the ‘Set.

You were already through so what's the big deal about today?

Because like a lot of others on here, he is under the misapprehension that all City supporters are Somerset and all Gasheads are Glos.

Local derby win and securing a home QF.

Well done you ZZ lot. You’ll have my backing to win the tournament - isn’t it nice that cricket can be like that? I suppose it’s much easier when you’re plucky under dogs year on year.

To be honest I don't think we'll go further than semi finals at best.. we might beat Lancs at home but I just don't think we've got the batting ability when up against better bowlers.  Glos highlighted that in the first 15 overs or so.

It’s not Glos or Somerset, but have you seen the Hampshire run chase? Needed to knock off the total quickly to qualify on net run rate and boy did they do it!!!

over 20 overs would have equated to a score of 289.

I don't have any dislike for Glos but still nice to beat them and wind some friends up. Harmless stuff.

Exactly.  My best mates are ardent Glos and City. No malice was intended at all but it seems some were wound up by my post.  Just a bit of fun.

I think it all depends on what team we can put out. At full strength we have a good chance.

Totally agree, without the losses it's dependent on someone doing something out of the ordinary

With everyone available we've nothing to fear

A guy I watch Somerset with follows Rovers home and away

For me the problem is where the ground is, the sportsman pub also very big Rovers connection, never liked our cider drinking songs

But there is definitely something in the air up there that gives supporters this illusion of grandeur. Both sides are in their neighbours shadow 🤫

Yeah truly bonkers - Glamorgan are absolute Village it has to be said but fair play to Hants as they won two games on Friday and then produced that on Sunday.. sneaking in at last minute.   If they take Notts out at QF stage that would be a bonus..

But Glos are competitive with a fraction of the budget.
