PHILINFRANCE
I suggested earlier that we might be 5 0r 6 down by 15H00. It now looks as if we could reach this position at lunch and might not even still be batting come 15H00.

Super
really poor effort again with the bat happens too many times. Any chance Banton could get into this team with the bat or anybody else in the reserves?

Could easily loose the game AND get a points deduction at this rate. Don't want to sound rude, but is it the wicket or just poor shot playing? I've not heard any mention about any inspections of the pitch There is something odd going on a many games this week with wickets falling all over the country

PHILINFRANCE
Well, that could change things: Sibley out, caught at slip off Leach. Snap Tumbles!

PHILINFRANCE
COVE has just dismissed Adam Hose for the second time in the match, LBW for 4 have been dismissed in a similar manner in the first innings, although for only 2. I do feel sorry for AH; he showed promise for Somerset as a youngster, but left for 'better climes', and I am sure he would have been desperate to show Somerset what they were missing. PHILINFRANCE
Very Silly. The first innings run out was unnecessary, but why take such a risk when you still have 5 wickets in hand, are approaching the close of play and remain with a reasonable chance of winning tomorrow as the pitch is easing? EmersonsRed
How ridiculous is the ICC rule regarding Dawson & Vince. I can't quite understand it really, very peculiar. Anyway, not sure how the bookies make Hants favs without Vince/Dawson. V Disrespectful to Somerset
Admin phantom Posted May 21, 2019 Admin Report Share Posted May 21, 2019 Confirmed that Tom Banton had a back spasm (not a hamstring injury) he'll be fit for Saturday after a couple of days rest

Admin phantom Posted May 22, 2019 Admin Report Share Posted May 22, 2019 Just saw this on the Somerset Forum . . .Not sure if WSM FAN posts on here? Absolutely not a shred of doubt. Zero logic in suggesting a Warwicks win on a pitch which has produced 36 wickets in 2 days. 6 on day 1 morning session. 8 on day 2 morning session. Most in form bowling attack this season against weakest batting line up. Wasp says 1%.....
