Phileas Fogg
GGG won in my opinion. How on earth did someone get 118-110, bizarre.

Northern Red
Farcical. GGG won that and they all knew it. Not sure why Canelo was getting booed though, not his fault. Get the judges up there defending it. Shame as the fight itself was great. Oh and Amir Khan is showing all the signs of a man who's taken too many shots to the head, has done for a while now.
B1ackbird
Just watched it, like most on here had GGG by 3/4 rounds Canelo threw some eye catching shots but there wasn't enough of them and they didn't put a dent in GGG's armour who was relentless all fight. 118-110 one of the worst judging proformances since Lewis Holyfield 1. Kid in the Riot
Just watched it and I scored it as follows: R1 Canelo R2 Canelo R3 GGG R4 GGG R5 GGG R6 Canelo R7 GGG R8 GGG R9 Canelo R10 GGG R11 Canelo R12 GGG So GGG by 2 rounds. It wasn't an easy fight to score and a few of those rounds could've gone either way. The 118-110 scorecard in Canelos favour was a travesty though. Overall, the fight never really caught fire though it was certainly engaging from start to finish. Long way off being a classic. Must be nailed on that they will do it all again next year.

Phileas Fogg
Anthony Yarde (good friend of JET) and Daniel Dubois got their standard wins against a couple of tin cans last night. yardy
I am still raging about that scorecard in the GGG/Canelo fight, think i'm more p'd off than Gennady. He has worked hard all his life and had a unbeaten professional record before this fight, now because of one idiotic judge Gennady's record has been tarnished. Noticed on twitter that Canelo has had some 'kind' judges in some of his previous fights - 118 - 109 vs Trout 114 - 114 vs Mayweather 117 - 111 vs Lara 119 - 109 vs Cotto Goldenboy cash cow

She also has a history of awful scoring in MMA bouts.
Welcome To The Jungle
Can a fight be subsequently re-scored? Probably not but I cannot understand it. However would we all complain if she had 115-113 to Canello? Probably not yet the result would have been the same. We're not laying into the other judge who had it a draw who's just as responsible. I had GGG by two and a few were so close they could've gone either way so I can't really blame the bloke the who scored it level. It's about styles too and I quite liked some of Canelo's work on the ropes where he slipped punches then landed with shots of his own. Ultimately though GGG landed 213 odd punches to Canelo's 160 ish and that shows that overall he certainly didn't do enough to win the fight. Bring on the rematch anyway, can't help but think Canelo will have to work harder and take a few more risks if he's going to take them belts off GGG. I like your idea about the 5 judges and take away the two widest scores, this would eliminate the random decisions. Also i would like to see ex pro boxers that have been in the game and understand it to judge.

Tyson Fury is massively overweight. Would love to see him fight Anthony Joshua, or failing that Dubois who would knock him out in about 30 seconds. Highlights of the evening included watching Peter Fury breaking up a fight between Billy-Jo Saunders' son (the one who punched Monroe) and some other kid. But the main event for me was watching Dubois. The fear in AJ Carter's eyes at the beginning of the fight was so clear. He knew he'd get sparked out and he was. DDD is going to be something special. Carter just collapsed. I wanted Yarde to lose, but he is a good fighter. BJS v Monroe was a tame fight made worse by the referee constantly stepping in when there was no need. People began leaving with 3 rounds left. One disappointing thing was too many of the match ups weren't match ups if you know what I mean.
