Don't feel sorry for the players. Feel desperately sorry for the club staff who depend on that money to live/missed payments on the mortgage.

Why don't you feel sorry for the players? They most probably have mortgages, bills and various other financial commitments to meet.

If you were Admin staff at Bolton you may feel a little aggrieved that Zach Clough chose not to help everyone get paid because he was allegedly holding out for 16K per week.

And if he can get that somewhere, good luck to him.

If Bolton don't pay him for a number of months, he can probably walk away for nothing and negotiate an even higher salary on a free transfer.

He will also get his wages from the PFA in the meantime as well.

I feel sorry for the players too. They've signed a contract and should be paid accordingly.

I care very little about the majority of players, its the tea lady the groundsmen and all the staff of the club that get the majority of my sympathy!

Well Zack Clough can either stay there and not get paid then, or come to us and get paid.

BIG DILEMMA

Two sides of the sorry side of football.

in some ways you feel sorry for any player that doesn't get paid (as above they've still got bills to pay).

On the other hand had he gone to us, Wolves, whoever, his teammates might have got paid.

Or maybe selfishness because he knows the PFA will help out.

Money has always unlevelled the playing field, but it hugely distorts it now.
