However they need 3 wins and we would have lose all 3. Are we not one of 5 teams they can catch? Goal difference obviously playing a factor... Quote Link to comment
mattjtsmith
We can't hold a lead, we can't hold a leaaaad, we're Bristol City, we can't hold a lead. Ah well. Next season now please Quote Link to comment
Wanderingred
Charlton relegated... and Massive goal for Burnley there! Rovers fate out of their own hands. We require a point from 3 games. Survival party at Blackburn then? Quote Link to comment

Frankly if we couldn't muster a single point from two games against fellow relegation candidates and one against a team with nothing to play for then we'd fully deserve relegation. It won't happen though. I'm optimistic tonight will prove to be our last defeat of the season. Edited April 19, 2016 by LondonBristolian Quote Link to comment

Just fell short tonight, but 'as good as' safe. 1 Quote Link to comment

brad blit
Despite going into the second half ahead after 2 opportunist goals (not taking anything away from Reids strike) we were poor for large parts of the game and resorted far too much to long balls AGAIN in the second half with a striker best suited with balls to his feet. Derby were much better second half pushing forward more and putting pressure on defence and generally wanted/won the ball more all around the pitch.. A lesson in what's needed to compete at this level Quote Link to comment

Londoner
Decent side Derby. Didn't expect anything. Wednesday hit the woodwork 4 times against MK Dons. Quote Link to comment

WessexPest
Hugely disappointing and a lot of work needs to be done if we are to cut the mustard at this level long-term but MK Dons haven't a prayer of catching us now. Quote Link to comment
ollywhyte
I always worry, can just see Dons winning next two with us losing, taking it to final game Vs QPR. Don't think I could take it!! Quote Link to comment

Red Rum
The first half was pretty open. In the second half we were well and truly taught a lesson in football - we've had a few this season, that was definitely one of the better ones. 1 Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Have to say I thought the most likely outcome tonight was that we and MK would both lose, but hey ho. We will be here next year, they won't. Edited April 19, 2016 by cityexile Quote Link to comment

Shtanley
I think people who groan/shout when we don't boot it forward shouldn't be allowed to clap when playing it around works. 3 Quote Link to comment

WessexPest
For those who are still chewing their nails, the BBC website began the Hillsborough match report thus: "MK Dons' relegation was all but sealed..." Oh, and here's a useful analogy to our situation - Manchester City could still win the Prem if they win all of their games and Leicester lose all of theirs. Anybody see that as even a remote possibility? Staying up. Quote Link to comment
Chairman Mao
1. Pack and Smith were tired, both looked poor 2. Kodjia needs decent service 3. The entire defence was woeful on the ball aside from Matthews 4. Reid MOM why was he taken off? 5. Freeman is League 1, needs to go. Sorry. 2 Quote Link to comment

Agree with most, except Pack was probably MoM, and I think Reid was just a throw of the dice to change things. Overall beaten by a better side while being awful . Thought Derby were very good. 1 Quote Link to comment
