Frankly if we couldn't muster a single point from two games against fellow relegation candidates and one against a team with nothing to play for then we'd fully deserve relegation.  It won't happen though.  I'm optimistic tonight will prove to be our last defeat of the season.

On paper our hardest game left, against a team now secure in the play offs. Just fell short tonight, but 'as good as' safe.

Despite going into the second half ahead after 2 opportunist goals (not taking anything away from Reids strike) we were poor for large parts of the game and resorted far too much to long balls AGAIN in the second half with a striker best suited with balls to his feet.

Derby were much better second half pushing forward more and putting pressure on defence and generally wanted/won the ball more all around the pitch..

A lesson in what's needed to compete at this level

Hugely disappointing and a lot of work needs to be done if we are to cut the mustard at this level long-term but MK Dons haven't a prayer of catching us now.

This shouldn't happen but it would not be out of character.

Come 5pm on Saturday and if we have lost and MK won I think I'll hibernate until after QPR.

The first half was pretty open. In the second half we were well and truly taught a lesson in football - we've had a few this season, that was definitely one of the better ones.

Oh, and here's a useful analogy to our situation - Manchester City could still win the Prem if they win all of their games and Leicester lose all of theirs. Anybody see that as even a remote possibility?

Agree with most, except Pack was probably MoM, and I think Reid was just a throw of the dice to change things. Overall beaten by a better side while being awful . Thought Derby were very good.
