just judging by a few tweets, he's been training and looking after himself in the summer. Love the photos , genuinely looks to be enjoying himself which can only be good for the coming season.

I think we'll see quite a bit of him getting involved with the club. From speaking with him & his Mrs at the end of the season he'll be living down here on his own so stuff like this will keep him busy.

He looks really well & I got a hug & can confirm he seems pretty fit.

To be fair this move has probably happened at the right time for him.

After a time living up north amongst folk that eat rats and mice, and then a spell where it didn't quite work out at Bournemouth he's probably delighted to be playing for a club from a decent city.

Sporting Life breaking news today. Tomlin signs for Bristol City.

Thats great news.  I was worried about us being outbid by Leeds, Norwich or QPR.

Have they also confirmed whether Sheff Utd still have a chance of overtaking us?

I've never got this 'one of our own' thing - why is LT one of our own?! He was born in Leicester and has played for seven clubs.

People were saying the same when LJ came back - despite the fact he'd played for ten clubs including two in Scotland and was born in Newmarket.

Fair enough if a Bristolian plays zillions of games for us - then that would be 'one of our own.'

It's brill that we've got LT back and he will undoubtedly give everything for our cause - but i'd love to know why he's one of our own.

It's the same as 'Legend' - bandied about with no real justification.

[Sorry to be a miserable old git!]

One as our own, as in not a loan signing anymore!!

But the last person who famously had this song about them was Mickey Quinn.

What has Tomlin got in common with him..?!
