EnderMB Posted July 1, 2016 Report Share Posted July 1, 2016 Pre-season has started, and we seem to be no closer to signing Tomlin than we were at the end of last season. Honestly, I would prefer it if the club were to put a time frame on this deal, and to say that if he doesn't sign in the next week then we're no longer pursuing him. I don't buy the whole "these deals are complicated" line. They're only complicated when both sides aren't in agreement, and clearly one side isn't. My fear is that we'll spend the next month flirting with him, not looking at any other players to sign, and he'll end up staying where he is.
