Oh Bobby Hell

Between heaven and hell

Recommended Posts

Bamba touched it just before Bobby got his touch which flicked the ball higher & meant Bobby caught it at the wrong angle.

Not enough urgency until we went 2 down & by then it was asking too much of us to come back again.

Bamba did well & I thought Gunnarsson cheated his way throughout the game well, sly little shirt pulls & then hitting the deck at the right times to get free kicks wrongly awarded (typical Colin player).

Tough game against a very motivated outfit. Colin has only just taken over and we saw the the new manager "bounce" effect from Cardiff tonight.

Just our bad luck that we met them so soon after they'd changed managers.

If Bobby falls forward then City get a deserved draw against a well-drilled, but turgid side, featuring the game's outstanding player, Sol Bamba.

The reason City lost had nowt to do with the Warnock effect, but their failure to pass the ball crisply and with width against a team defending deep. We had the same problem against Newcastle, plenty of possession and no end product, resorting to the longer ball late in the game.

On a positive note, when City have lost this season they have bounced back immediately.

We're still a work in progress and an exiting one when on song.
