Tipps69
Rangers can't find a proper reason to 'sack' him can they? So they'll have to pay about £2m to get rid of him from what I heard.

Taz
That one he wouldn't be able to sign until January even if he's sacked - registered outside of the window. You'd have thought that he'd have learned his lesson by now, decent player but can't help himself and seems to attract trouble wherever he goes. Slacker
...on at the local job centre after Rangers sack him,and no other club comes in for the odious little turd.Hopefully!
BS4 on Tour...
Great player at Championship level, could probably still do a job in the Prem too. No good wishing that no other clubs sign him, someone will and he will put in match winning performances like he did for Burnley...
Bs4Red
Would have him down here in a heartbeat and anyone that wouldn't is mad. Under the right manager he flourishes like he did at Burnley

There comes a point when a player becomes far more trouble than they are worth. Joey Barton is such a good player that he was worth taking a gamble on long after lesser players would have found themselves unemployed. For me he's now passed that point. I can't see any club with a chairman and manager with any degree of self-respect being prepared to sign him. Realistically he only has one option left and he may as well just move to Swindon today. Not doubting his ability but short termism at its worst. Anyone who thinks differently is an idiot (as insults are being bandied around)
