Reading Havanatopia's excellent OP, and seeing the picture of the steel works reminds me of how much Britain and life gas changed in fifty years. We went by steam train via Birmingham and all the way from Brum to Wolverhampton there were dirty steel works alongside the whole distance. The railway track is now a dual carriageway without a steel mill anywhere.

All I can hope today is that our team can break what must be one of the longest runs without a win for any team at an away ground.

Cidered,  was that the Boxing Day when there was ice all over the terraces and some fans were stretchered out as they collapsed overcome with the cold?  If that's the one, I was there, made the journey with three friends who were in the back of my companies Morris Minor van.  This van was replaced just after with a Ford Escort as the Minor's gear change jumped out when in second.   Those were the days!    Sorry, but don't fancy us to win, but it's is possible we may get a long awaited draw, it must be due soon, so why not today?    COYR's

We look very lightweight with that side out. Tomlin as much as I like him, a liability playing out wide away from home and on the same side as Bryan which won't help him much with his poor form.

Bets me why we don't  play Freeman Left midfield, Reid right midfield and Tomlin down the centre. Perhaps it's too obvious to have the left footer on the left and the righ footer on the right to fit into LJs scientific views.
