As mentioned on a previous thread it is 35 years since the AG8 tore up their contracts and saved our football club. I propose a minutes applause in the 8th minute tomorrow to show our gratitude for their sacrifice (which if you read on this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38750475 was quite substantial. COYR Too many applause situations in my opinion. It has had its day. It is now too commonplace. I respect the actions of the Ashton Gate 8 and remember the situation well . . . but I shan't applaud. Problem is that they are happy to put the story behind them and move on. Where do we go from there? A minute of applauds would be appreciated I reckon.
